The writers are going to have to lay a few golden eggs to rescue this story. -

Mind you, I thought this about S2 and it does mask a multitude of sins, so what do I know?
But... its a great start. Jane Bond was great, Jesse Pinkmans storyline is GTA Online with a nervous breakdown and Bernard is a now the guy from Upgrade.

Registered 20 years agoI’ve reached a point in my life where I have the subtitles on all the time and the TV set to reduce loud noises. It kinda helps when some shows devolve into Mumblevision. -

Registered 15 years agoI haven't watched ep 3 yet but I am glad this is one of the rare shows with subtitles available on Nowtv. The amount of things you know are subtitled on regular Sky but not on Nowtv is annoying. -

Registered 6 years agoI download eps and watch in Plex and have frequently had WAY TOO LOUD MUSIC issues, not just in this show. Have always assumed I’ve downloaded something with the sound coded set to something my TV can’t handle, and Apple TV’s Reduce Loud Sounds doesnt make any difference so I just have to have subs on.
Not seen ep3 yet, but loved eps 1 and 2. I’m happy they’ve said they’re making this series way less convoluted than 1 or 2 and are telling a new chapter of the story. The show needed it, and apparently they’ve planned out the whole story to the end, over a certain number of series, so I guess they know the storytelling needed to take a new direction for balance.
OMG Dolores on the cycle holy fucking shit. -

Registered 10 years agoSeries is much better than 2 but still not as good as 1. Can't help thinking this will end up being a "future park" or Paul Aarons character will end up being a robot but hopefully neither of those happen.
I don't remember S1 having lots of cuts in scenes? Also had 0 issue with the sound this week.

Registered 3 years agoI watched a few of this season, having thought last season was a shitty, shitty mess and it doesn't feel any different.
They've Walking Deaded the show. Had a decent enough idea in the first season, with relatively good story arcs and then ran out of ideas other than getting new Worlds and tried to write out plots from earlier where there really wasn't any substance to begin with.
I will revisit if they go to the following new Worlds:
