    To say the least!

I liked the little teasing hints at Shogun World.

I can't really remember half the shit now from season 1 and I kind of half watched the finale and felt like it missed some strands. Reckon I can get away with just rewatching the finale or is there a decent summary of it all somewhere.

I reckon rewatching the finale will probably remind you enough of what happened.

It's been so long I'm sure they'll just do a recap at the beginning of the first episode of S2.

Only thing I really liked the look of in that trailer was the Japanese hints. The rest looked pretty samey, which might not be a bad thing, but I was hoping for a bit more.

Recaps always help, it's been a while. I've watched season 1 twice and I'll still need a nudge to recall the details.

The whole point of the first one was the mystery of what was going on. If this is just a straight up man vs robot thing it's going to be a lot less interesting.

Is McPoyle still in it? Or are they not doing the flashbacks anymore.

Hmmm...I have too much stuff to watch. Need to download season one of this on Sky boxsets. Haven't even started the current season of Blacklist and currently working my way through Madam Secretary S3, whilst S4 is airing. Billions is another one. Need to watch season 2, and season three is about to start. Haven't even bothered with the current seasons of The Flash/Arrow et al yet.

    ARGH.

Yeah it's a worry what they will do in this season. Although to be honest I'd be up for the mystery element going and them using this world to now just tell a decent story.

My concern is that they're going to muck it up the other way around though - I've seen some interview talking about how they specifically have things in to mess with the Reddit audience. I feel like they're going to be playing games so much they'll forget about actually making a decent show.

Be very, very careful out there regarding season two.

Following an AMA overnight Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy have released the whole plot, spoiler warts, twists and all on Youtube as a social experiment in combating spoilers!

Here's the full post from reddit:

    From Jonathan Nolan’s Reddit comment:

Hey Reddit! Many thanks for your great questions and thoughts. As I've said before, I've been a member of the reddit community for years (no I'm not going to share my original username...). And I greatly enjoyed watching the friendly folks at this subreddit guess the twists and turns of the season. It creates a larger problem for us, though, in terms of the way your guesswork is reported online. 'Theories' can actually be spoilers, and the line between the two is confusing. It's something we've been thinking about since last season. The fans of Game of Thrones, for instance, rallied around and protected the secrets of the narrative in part because they already knew those secrets (through season 5). We thought about this long and hard, and came to a difficult (and potentially highly controversial) decision. If you guys agree, we're going to post a video that lays out the plot (and twists and turns) of season 2. Everything. The whole sordid thing. Up front. That way the members of the community here who want the season spoiled for them can watch ahead, and then protect the rest of the community, and help to distinguish between what's 'theory' and what's spoiler. It's a new age, and a new world in terms of the relationship between the folks making shows and the community watching them. And trust is a big part of that. We've made our cast part of this decision, and they're fully supportive. We're so excited to be in this with you guys together. So if this post reaches a 1000 upvotes we'll deliver the goods. Hasta victoria siempre! Jonah and Lisa

The full video is here if you want to watch it (why would you want to watch it?):

    SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS!

    WTF?!?!?

There's always a possibility that the contents of the video are fake to guarantee a rug-pull at some point in the season, but maybe not, so I'm not watching it. Plenty of dickheads will post spoilers as theories - seems like the internet is just a no-go zone while season two airs.

    Ffs.

Surely HBO wouldn't be happy? But then they put out GoT early a couple times last season by mistake

Well, it seems that the video is not quite what it seems to be at first glance...

    As reported by the BBC.

Enjoyed that a lot. Good to have the show back and it's looks like it's going to be darker and a lot more violent

Watched last night. Was a pretty damn good episode. Looks like different timelines are indeed a thing again, episode had 3 I think, and cliffhanger ending!
