I went into the bookies yesterday and thought I'd have a little flutter, so I asked the guy behind the counter " What odds would you give me for... Andy O'brien OG first goal and Man U to win 6-0? " He said " Evens Mate " So my prediction for todays game is Man U 6 Newcastle United 0. :(

    I am a contreversial supporter.

I care about two teams, and follow them when I can (bearing in mind I have no Sky, or money, so I depend on mates for tickets/telly). Anyhow, I support Newcastle and Sunderland :)

But to the point, I think we will lose, and I'm not going the pub to watch it, as the atmosphere was fecking dire last time.

    3-1

Fuck off Moist, how the hell can you like either the Toon or the Makems without hating one or the other? Pre-70's fans used to watch Newcastle one week and Sunderland the next, but this ceased when we took the Fullwell End in 1970. You are one of a rare breed.

Don't ask if you can come and watch the match in my hoose. :)

I'm a Manchester United supporter. Calling Man Utd shit just shows how small minded you are regarding the game of football. Who will win the match, I don't know, that's what makes football so great.

Excuse me? What has saying man utd are shit got to do with being small minded about football?

As far I can see your post was just an attempt to have a dig at me.

    And proud :D

My dad always used get me to watch the Sunderland games when I was little, and I live in Newcastle.

At least I'm behind the area I'm from, I hate people who just support the teams that are doing well.
I notice Chelsea's suppot has grown massively since the money/players/results have come in.

Bowyer's penalty has been extended for 3 more games, but I think Dyer is back.

Well I'm very proud of the way we performed, under the circumstances todays game was a victory. Well a moral victory anyway.

What was the score? I'm too lazy to check.

    Here's something controversial..

I'm not a huge Newcastle fan, or of any other club for that matter, but I do have more allegancies towards Newcastle than most, as my dad's family are geordies and I've spent a lot of time up in Newcastle over the years. I just think Shearer could have had an even better career if he'd left Newcastle and went somewher else. At least he'd of won more trophies. And after all, that's what motivates players. Any thoughts?
