    I kid thee not.

And it all stems from this.

I'd be interested in hearing if any of you have got the equipment to give it ago - I've ransacked my cupboards and I can't even find a toilet plunger.

Should also work on laptop touch pads.

Of course the big disadvantage with this method would be that you wouldn't be able to see the map - but if it really improves controls then I suppose there's room in my pockets for a suction cup as well as a smint box.

The Nintendo DS - a console for the Blue Peter generation.

The heads off those bow and arrow sets you get from the fair might work I spose...

Or better still, if you like a long travel, the little sucker darts from the Spiderman Buggy thing Chavgos sell.

In the clip they're using a transparent one so you can still sort of see the map. Wish I had one lying around. Might have to ransack the kid's room.

If developers looked at the DS's functions and created a game around that instead of taking existing games and trying to fit them to the DS, then there should not be a need for an analogue stick.

Interesting idea, reminds me of that analog stick I had for my GBA. But technically, if you can do that for a screen, can't you adapt the suction cup to fit over the d-pad?
