Registered 7 years agoI think people should do a bit of time on the naughty step and be allowed back. I always liked Deckard. I thought LB was a helmet but he added a lot more to the forum than people like me.
The characters that make it feel like home often are a bit gruff and miserable. I guess the more time you spend here, the more feuds you get into and the more relaxed you are about being rude and throwing your weight around.
I know you don't have to be that way, and there are plenty of really nice regulars. But as long as posters are not making new people unwelcome or bullying regulars too hard then I'd much rather have them.
Objectively they are probably keeping people coming to the site which is surely the aim. Deckard was a rude bastard but this thread says a lot about how much he was liked. Mods should see that and act accordingly with a month or two on the naughty step as the maximum penalty. -
