I think Hollywood films will be having a lot of sex scenes with plot conversations in them.

"Uh, uh, uh yeah! Didn't I - oh yeah, just like that - that it was the - oooooooooh - butler that did it! Yowza! You are the butler and a master of disguise."

Yeah seems a bit excessive. But, and I say this as someone who as worked in the court system, it's always a bit misleading when you try to asess how harsh a law is by only citing the maximum possible sentence. That really doesn't give the whole picture. It is quite common that a simple crime, such driving without a license, carries a maximum sentence of few years in prison, wich might look very harsh. However that is reserved for extremley rare cases, such as a huge number of repeat offences, while the regular sentence is a modest fine.

I assume that this probably is the case here as well.

That said I musty say I'm highly sceptical of making copyright infringments criminal offences, regardless of the severity of the punishment stipulated.

I thought the proposed MP3 player tax in Holland was amusing. It will almost double the price of some players as its by the GB. The authorities don't seem to be able to keep up with technology - except defence.
