Yeah, I'd be happy if Crook wrote a new series about something else, and maybe it only had Jones in as a one off. Like how Pepperdine and Scanlon did that dog training show after Getting On finished.

I'd have been happy leaving it as it is, but hopefully S3 brings the charm again.

I have said it before, but the Johnny Flynn song is one of my favs. It is like a love song, but not quite, and I really like that feeling.

Anyone catch the first episode of the new series. Great to see both characters back again (and yes, the charm is back). It's such an odd show - it's quite slow and meditative in places - feels like a sleepy Sunday afternoon.

Yeah, I caught it. The feeling of wistfulness is still present and correct. Terry's DMDC talk was probably the most double-entendre laden yet. Lance has a new bit on the side I think and Andy and Becky are living with Becky's mum while the look for somewhere. Awkwardness looks bound to ensue.

Loved episode 2, the Itchy Chin scene immediately took me back to an 80s playground. Trained clown Toby Jones was in good form hunting squirrels and trying to relax in the hypnotist chair.

A really nice end to the show. The final series was a bit weaker than the previous two but I guess it had a pretty high bar to top.
