Tequila, tonic & grapefruit. Surprisingly nice
I love this drink (called a paloma, if you want to be a bar cunt)
I was drinking tequila and ginger ale up till then, which the bar lady hadnít had before but liked, so she recommended this. Ginger ale is better imho

Tanqueray Rangpur gin tonight with bitter lemon or tonic, I'll decide later.
Probably a couple of Laphroaig 10s afterwards too.

Ginger beer surely, although I've not tried it with ginger ale.

@fontgeeksogood can honestly say I no longer do miss it. Thereís the very odd time (hot sunny day with a bbq) that I fancy a cold one, but I make sure Iíve got something cold that isnít alcoholic with me. Itís amazing how nice soft drinks taste.

Took a while to get to this stage though. Upside is no more hangovers. :)

Non alcoholic beers not work for you in that situation? Or best not to even go there?!

I used to drink nonalcoholic beer, but in the last year or so Iíve found I donít even fancy that. I now prefer a big bottle of cream soda or ginger ale etc. Find it much tastier, more refreshing and it doesnít have all the downsides of alcohol. Iíve two bottles of na beer left over from Christmas and I now just keep the stuff for anyone who comes over and is driving.

I used to drink a lot, so Iíve had more than enough for one lifetime:)

I used to quite like dark and stormyís, but god did they ever hurt the next day!

Lots of Brooklyn Lager as it's the only thing on tap that's close to worth drinking in a Robinson's pub.

Robinson's pubs are always a challenge to get pissed in.

    Stockport innit.

I'd kill for Holts pub in the town centre.

I've only got 1 village pub where I am. But it has a microbrewery on site in the cellars so if you like beers you can't go wrong. Unfortunately, I don't like them and drink cider, but he has 4 ciders too. I'll have to move house if he ever closes the pub.

Just found out the place I'm heading too actually has Stowford Press on tap which I had for the first time on your kindly recommendation the other day which is good stuff, so if I get sick of the Brooklyn Lager I'm going onto that.

Good old Stowford, I there's a pub in Brum that if I remember sells Thatchers Gold iced from the tap. Like a slushie cider if you will.

Tonight I will be drinking however much it takes to blot out my consciousness on an overnight flight back from Florida to the UK. I suspect this might be quite a lot.

    Toilet Duck time, possibly.

Yeah stowfords is a good one. I'm a thatchers fan myself but can happily drink my own bodyweight in stowfords if required.

It was mate. It was. The brain freeze was also real. I'll have to investigate when I'm back in a fortnight.

    @JamboWayOh

I might try a home version of that with some ice. In my pants. In the garden.

Definitely recommend using a freezer rather than your pants mate.
