Bought some fancy coffee liqueur so I'm having White Russians after having a few beers earlier.

It's happy hour round Bill's gaff!

Been one of 'those' days today & needing a few i think!

Another Lidl porter, and a Guinness. Going easy, as I plan to drink a lot tomorrow.

Something called a 'hard seltzer' from Oskar Blues. 5%. Very refreshing; very drinkable…

Supping on an old fashioned tonight. Using maple syrup instead of sugar syrup and it's pretty great.

That's a recognised thing. Cryptically, called a Maple Old Fashioned.

I don't want to further caricature myself, but what grade maple syrup did you use

Some Milton Brewery ' Saturnalia '. Mate bought a polypin, with the intention of me bottling it ( as I'm a homebrewer ). Thought it might be a ball ache, but seemed to work OK. Fairly citrusy and smashable, for 5.3%.

@fontgeeksogood I'll tell you in a few minutes when I make another. I'm at my parents so it's bound to be a Lidl jobbie.

It's 'Grade A, specially selected', which definitely means it's Lidl or Aldi

A nice bottle of argentinian malbec. There may be another afterwards the mood I'm in.

A 6°N 'Omnium'. Nice easy drinking session IPA.

Lighter than their 'Roubaix IPA' I had later last night.

Pepsi Max - couldn't be bothered with beer, but feeling even more bloated - ice cold it is moreish though.

I wasn't going to drink tonight, still feeling the after effects of Friday. But that press conference may just have pushed me towards a lovely Malbec.
