My now biweekly 6 bottles of wine arrived from Majestic today so one of them. This is worth a look if anyone gets their wine from there, it's fantastic for the price (assuming you're buying 6 bottles)

I might try that - good value if you stock up.

It'll all be gone in a couple of days but those couple of days will be enjoyable.

Yeah I'll definitely be keeping it going. Had 4 deliveries off them now and only had 2 bottles that weren't great. I've just been keeping to the ones with high percentage of people that would buy again and trying new stuff everytime. Good selection of stronger wine too. Got this baby lined up for tonight.

    @Decks

Yeah the rating system is pretty useful - I'm shit with working out what's what, so a guideline is helpful.

Fuck it, might get some ordered today

I prefer stouts and porters so I'll have to try and track that down, sounds lovely.

Speaking of Brewdog collabs, you ever had Tokyo Death?
    Hi Ror,

No i haven't tried that one. It sounds like one of their more turbocharged booze ones from the early days, i think i remember the name!

I'm not a massive stout fan, but do dig some.seriosly, that one was really nice. Much better than some of the chocolate stouts I've
tried. Really creamy and smooth. The head was almost as nice as I remember a pint of Gillespie's being, which used to be one of my favourite stouts until they went to the wall or got bought out about 20years back. Never seen them on draught in any pub since then. :-(
Yeah, I tried it in the Brixton Brewdog a while back - it's 15%, and it bloody tastes like it! I wasn't a fan.

I wish I could get hold of some Young's London Stout. Bloody love that stuff, but I can't find anywhere online that sells it. There's only one pub near me that does it as well, and it's always in limited quantities.

I'm a big fan of stouts and that is one of my favourites but I thought it was draught only?

Best thing about this lockdown is not being forced to drink cunty craft beers all the time because no pub does normal beers anymore.

4 pack of bud from the offie on a Saturday night? Hell yeah.

Got a bottle of Fuller's Honey Dew at the mo. Picked up a few bottles each of stout and a chocolate porter at Marks & Sparks earlier, so I'll give each of those a run out.

Get some Dead Man's Fingers Pineapple flavour, and pour about 1/3 of that, 2/3 pure orange joice. Maybe add a squeeze of lime if you like.

On my third one, well on my way! I dont recommend it neat AT ALL, but like that, very nice!

Is that the little bottles or the proper ones(660ml)?

Hate to be an automatic driver that bugs up his drinking but it's basically not drinking unless it's proper bottles.

I can't drink red wine in the summer, it's a winter drink for me. Red wine hangovers in the heat are absolutely brutal.

Sorry TH, unless it's Budvar, Bud is the worst beer on the planet.

I am finishing off a random Spanish red from Monastrell grapes. It's very nice indeed.

Match every glass with a glass of water. Makes a huge difference. You'll just piss like a racehorse

I powered through red wine hangovers about 10 years ago, they hardly touch me now. Spirits give me the worst hangovers. Normally because I end up drinking far too much. I'll be regretting buying the bottle dead mans finger tomorrow.

Doesn't matter what I drink, if it's to excess, I am ruined. Red wine is the worst, but it's so fucking good.
