Best thing about this lockdown is not being forced to drink cunty craft beers all the time because no pub does normal beers anymore.

4 pack of bud from the offie on a Saturday night? Hell yeah.

It needs to be a hockey shirt if you're going to keep doing Denis Leary bits

My now biweekly 6 bottles of wine arrived from Majestic today so one of them. This is worth a look if anyone gets their wine from there, it's fantastic for the price (assuming you're buying 6 bottles)

I might try that - good value if you stock up.

It'll all be gone in a couple of days but those couple of days will be enjoyable.

Yeah I'll definitely be keeping it going. Had 4 deliveries off them now and only had 2 bottles that weren't great. I've just been keeping to the ones with high percentage of people that would buy again and trying new stuff everytime. Good selection of stronger wine too. Got this baby lined up for tonight.

This was the shiznit incidentally. One of those bottles that makes you feel drunk as soon as you start drinking it.
That's going in the basket then!

    I love Aspall.

I had some Scrumpy Jack on Friday that I was expecting to be cack, but it was OK.

kronenbourg 1664. some german-sounding french beer with a relation to heineken that's brewed in the uk. i really should try a meme micro-brew brewed by some plucky microbrewery.

/stuart hall It's a knockout voice "The Belgians are coming! '

Starting off with an 8.4% Kwak. Not had one in ages. Still v. Nice.

Warming up from the inside too whilst out in the sun! 😃

Soo, a Kasteel Rouge, A Burning Sky 'Arise' and an 'Oerbier' later I'm watching Mission Impossible Fallout. I was watching World Cup rewind, but the lad wasn't happy at missing some, so I have postponed the rest of that until tomorrow.

Ordered some more stuff from Fullers, so having a Black Cab stout. It's very nice, but I think I prefer their London Porter.

Maybe order a case of each next time :)

Got one o' those Sub beer taps yesterday, and a couple of kegs turned up today, so I'm having some Brixton Coldharbour lager.

Quite pleased with the tap, but all the kegs are out of stock now.

Also, I realise this makes me sound like I have an alcohol problem.

I've thought about one of these, but are they good value for money?

Everytime I've looked the beer seems much more expensive than what you can buy it for in the shops.

Some of the kegs are ~8.50 for 2L, which isn't terrible when you compare it to a pint in a pub (four pints would cost me ~20 here). But yeah, cheaper to drink cans/bottles.

I kinda miss the pub, but am I fuck going anywhere near one for the foreseeable. So sod it, I bought a beer tap.

Ha, have often mulled over buying one of those but the price of the kegs just put me off.

Yeah, at the very least I wouldn't suggest buying one just now - almost all the kegs are currently out of stock, and the only ones they do have are the more expensive ones.

Had a panic attack about a big new work project and no girlfriend or friends of any kind to help calm me down anymore.

So kraken and strawberry diet coke.

I'm on day 10 of a month long detox - with current world events putting my anxiety levels up, I probably chose the wrong time to forego beer. At least the weather took a turn for the worse.

So it's mostly water, sparkling water and Vimto for me for another 20 days. Made a smoothie yesterday out of sheer boredom.

Tried the alcohol free Peroni. Terrible. The alcohol free Heineken is slightly better.
