Some 1664 in the fridge leftover from parent's rations at our toddlers birthday party, then on to the boozer when my boet arrives to watch the rugga and I'll switch to Guinness most likely.

    Sensible, right?
    No, sounds utterly stupid.

I just came back from Portugal and found the trick to drinking nice beer whilst on holiday: go to where the Germans are! A lot of the bars had a lot of German beers, plus a few Belgium ones thrown in too.

I've never found Guinness sits well on lager.

I'd prefer just the Guinness, followed by lots more!

Manns Brown Ale, 89p for 500ml in Home Bargains this afternoon.

Only 2.8%, but I find that if I match my missus with her cans of Kronenbourg 1:1, she ends up drunk enough to want sex and I stay sober enough to enjoy it.

Should have done that. We were in Olhao a few weeks ago and I don't think we drank anything but Sagres and Vino Verde.

@PES_Fanboy bottles are the way forward - I don't drink from a tin, ever. Always needs a glass :)

isla negra, apparently. Usually buy wine, it's all the same, you don't get rough wine like you used to years ago, so I never bother to look at the labels, apart from the cost.

Caesar Augustus is properly tasty. I was drinking birds and bees the other day. This evening I am rather drunk on Weiss beer as I am in Germany and it would seem rude not to be
