@beastmaster that comment aside we know nothing about how it links to the current timeline really.

I think when it was called ďfar from homeĒ itís a bit naughty really as he was last seen a very long way from home and people assume because it releases after avengers itís from a forward point in time. I do believe that to be the case though.

Edit: fiege has indeed confirmed it takes place after end game. Looking back maybe I read that before.

@drhickman1983 I think the issue with 8 films a year is that they do stand out a bit when hardly any other action/adventure films and franchises of note are live over the last few years.
Mission Impssobke, Jurrasic Parks, Kong, John Wick, Transformers, Star Wars... There have definitely been others. Some better than others, but there have been plenty of non-comic action films.

    I'm digging Mysterio.

    The rest was OK.

I liked it, I don't believe that Sandman and Hydro Man are in the film, it's most definitely a Mysterio illusion to make him seem a hero like his origin back in the 60s.

Yeah, i'd put money on the enemy mysterio fights is an illusion of some sort he's created to look cool.

It'll be the incredibles all over again.

So how many people know who Spider-Man is in this? Don't like that he still seems to rely on Starks gear and has no spider sense

Iron man, fury, Pepper, Falcon, Strange, Goth, Mysterio now as Parker isn't in the suit when fighting Hydro-Man.

Call me crazy, but since he's a kid and crap at being Spiderman, I think what we are seeing is, and stop me if I'm going too fast, his development into being the fully fledged Amazing Spiderman we all know and love, complete with his own rogues gallery and getting help from various father figures along the way.

    Cuz his own ones died.

You could....maybe... call it his origin story...

Nick, could you spoiler your post please. Not all of us know that Spiderman had an Uncle Ben who died.

He has Spider Sense. Though it's only referenced in Infinity War, on the bus.

I preferred the version where he spunks the web out of his wrist vaginas rather than through a special contraption.

    Weak trailer.

After End Game I am done with Marvel I think. It was fun, but it is all the same generic fluff.

I am wondering how no one can think spider Man is someone in their group.

He is only seen in new York, except when they are in Washington and London. Doesn't anyone wonder why he never appears in other cities except when their class group is in them?

Well.... In the comics...... pretty much everyone in that group knows who he is so again, character development?

It's one of those superhero things that you can't really overthink too much. Batman similarly is incredibly obviously Bruce Wayne when you think about it even for a moment.

I've always quite liked the way Marvel steered slightly more away from secret identities than DC do. Spider-Man is really the only main one who isn't 'out'.

Yeah, at the end of the day, you just need to accept that it's a comic and secret identities are a bit silly and wouldn't really work but that's part of the fun.

I generally like Vox videos but holy shit that was an incoherent mess. At no point in that entire video did they back up or even really make the point that the MCU 'feels empty'. The first third is a brief history of comic crossover, the second third is explaining the snowglobe from St.

Elsewhere, and the last third prattles on about how if you really existed in the X-men universe you would have a choice to make regarding mutants- which makes it...better somehow? What kind of bizarre pointless metric even is that? No one watches superhero movies and imagines themselves being the people in the street- they imagine themselves as Wolverine and Spider-man.

Actually it's not as obvious as you think https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DtgCkmUS1IYI&ved=0ahUKEwih587m8JngAhXMXhUIHWfOBnkQo7QBCDAwBQ&usg=AOvVaw3ITdp9-8nrMtmCqZUHJsQO

Itís now official. Kevin Feige has taken control of the X-Men film franchise. Unable to link at the moment.

There have been mutterings that Marvel have already been filming something set during WW1 but itís unknown what it is. Could be a stand-alone Wolverine film.

As for Dark Phoenix, itíll still probably get released.
