I thought you lot were joking then I watched the video...

Best comment - "this guy just validated everyone who ever bullied him"

The comic really needs to be massively satirical in tone at least, but it likely won’t be considering it’s the New Warriors team.
I dunno. The last proper run was basically a joke about a reality show following the team around and them doing super-heroing for ratings, so its not like they havent gone dumb before.

Are all the potential people who could have said "wait, this sounds like a really fucking bad idea" self-isolating or something? Because that's a really fucking bad idea.
It does feel like someone should have said wait, maybe pass it by some people in the LGTBIQ community see what the response is. Even reading about the Trailblazer character and it all seems so, so, so problematic. Terrible.

Yeah, there's dumb. And then there's this.

Yeah, quite apart from anything else, they are the kind of completely lame 80s characters who were a name in search of a character.

'So.. her name is Snowflake... whats her powers?'

'Uhm..... she can make ninja death stars that look like snowflakes?'

    'Nailed it'

All of them are absolute, generic shit.

I mean, yeah, dazzler proves you can make a character out of anything with decent writing but this is off to a very bad start.

The names are terrible but even the costumes for the two characters are just mind boggling.

I really try to see the positives in things. Sometimes it's more difficult. This is almost impossible, but I did manage - everyone seems to despise it equally. Casual fans seem to hate it. Long-term fans seems to hate it. The very people it's supposed to represent and be supportive of seem to hate it. People that would've hated such things, even if they had been done well, hate it.

Everyone from every background seems to be united in thinking this is a stupid thing that everyone will hate. It's so rare to see a whole fanbase united in such a way. Even the 3.2k upvoted for the video feel like they're pity upvotes.

He inhaled his grandfather's experimental.... Internet gas. I wish I was making this shit up. It's just so lazy, on all fronts.

"Hey, we really need some hip new superheroes for the kids to enjoy. Any ideas?"

"Well, my grandson is always on his phone, so... um, could that be a power somehow?"

"OH OH OH, and I was listening to Fox News about a year ago, and they were talking about all these college kids with their safe spaces, and I think the word 'snowflake' was used. That's still current, right?"

"Wow... just wow. Shut up and take my money, you guys are geniuses!"

Even if it is on purpose, it's more like that Return of Matt Hazard game, that tried to be a parody of repetitive, formulaic games by knowingly being one. Being rubbish ironically is still being rubbish.

Sequel to Venom is officially called Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

Love the name. It's been moved to June 25, 2021.

One of them is an animated paperclip. It gives Peter great power stopping Lex Luthor write his evil plans on Word by popping up to ask if he needs help, but never actually helping

I finally saw Venom a couple of weeks ago. It was so bad it could have been a DC film.

I apologise unreservedly if everyone already knows this, but Carnage in the comics is the ‘bad’ Venom - where the symbiote that makes Venom bonds with a psychotic killer (Venom has a moral code of sorts, at least, and doesn’t kill ‘innocents’.)

He makes a cameo at the end of the first one, if anyone was wondering why gurning Woody Harrelson randomly turns up.

I hope he turns into Carnage because of 5G.

Ahh - didn’t realise. Haven’t got round to watching it yet.

The idea of a Venom film without Spider-Man is really really weird.

Considering how they handled the origin story it would be weird how they’d establish his beef with Spider-Man going forward.

Venom is now due to come out 3 weeks before the next Spider-Man film although Spidey will probably get shifted. Tom Holland doesn't know which he will shoot first, Uncharted or Spider-Man 3.
