Like I said, it depends if the current way forward totally shits the bed. I mean Falcon/Winter Soldier aren't exactly great actors.
I mean... very few in the MCU are. Which isn't to say that they're not fun movies, just that people probably aren't watching them for the quality of the acting.

Totally but Falcon/Winter Soldier is another level of ropey acting.

Not at all, it's regarded as the best of the MCU tbh.

Winter Soldier is my personal favourite.
It's an excellent, light spy-thriller action film with a superhero in it until Fury re-enters the film in the final act, at which point it just reverts to normal superhero form with something massive falling from the sky. Up until then it's fire.

I think the one I'd most likely rewatch is Thor Ragnarok.
Didn't know the first Cap was so loved...

Of the original big three I think all the Cap films are great. Thor has at least one dud and Iron Man arguably only has one properly good one.

The first Cap film is great. It's a proper comic book movie.

I didnít see the first Cap movie until years later on disc. I was really taken aback that it was actually really good. Iíve rewatched it a number of times.

Iím currently really bothered by how stupid the Falcon/Winter Soldier show is. Thereís a guy who has recreated and improved the Super Soldier Serum. This guy is the most valuable guy on earth. The scary and apparently powerful Power Broker has him in an isolated shipping container with no guards or anyone else around. That guy would be being treated like a billion-dollar asset.

In that case I must be in the minority that thinks that :)

Hmph. Guardians is the nest of Marvel IMO. Dave Bautista legit cracks me up as Drax. Still, I like Chris Evans as Mr America, too.

If you're looking for "serious" marvel films I think the Capt. movies are the most consistent but Gaurdains wins hands down for fun.

I think Iím alone in thinking it but I prefer GOTG 2 to 1. The first one didnít really have a good villain and it leant too hard into the pop culture lol 80s stuff. 2 had more heart to it.

I thought the script for Guardians 2 was just stunning. Not a wasted moment in it.

I think it is fair to say that both series, Cap and Guardians, are the standout Marvel films. The humour in Guardians is incredibly well done, and they still manage to throw in plenty of serious. Cap 1 is incredibly faithful to the comics, Winter Soldier is my favourite MCU film. Even Civil War is really good, considering they give the ensemble cast all a great showing but still focus on character development.

Ragnarok and Dr Strange are well worth mentioning on the top tier films, and for the humour the first Ant Man film is in my favourites.

@davidfowles that would put him on the radar. Best asset hidden away is the goal.

I think Civil War is arguably the second best team-up movie for me

Yeah, but Star Lord is responsible for allowing the first snap. So fuck Star Lord.

Star Lord is a douche. And I know its by design but that doesnít make his douche baggery anymore entertaining. My least favourite core MCU character.

Drax annoys me more than Star Lord. They made a relatively interesting character into the dumbest one just for the memes. The whole ďIím moving really slow so Iím invisibleĒ stuff was just cringy.

It must just be me but I found the Captain America and Guardians films least enjoyable. Practically fell asleep during both.

Iron Man 3 is the overall worst, surely we can all agree on that?

Although considering how many films weíre talking about there are probably only a handful of duds out of 20+ entries in the series and their biggest crime is usually being forgettable rather than shit like the problem is with the bad DC films.

    Iron Man 2, 3, Thor 2, Ant-Man 1 and Age of Ultron

Iron man 2 was probably the worst one for me.
