Why Can't I log on here from Home?

For the past two weekends I have tried logging on here from home but it just ignores it. Even with a new user name it will not let me log on. But I try it from work and it lets me.

Any ideas, has my IP address been banned or something?

Maybe the people at EG towers really hate office jobs and by denying you access at home, hope that you'll waste even more company hours here?

Try a different browser, see if that helps.

Tried that also, it was annoying me big time as I am sending my old gphx card to a guy on here and I said I would reply at the weekend. He must think I am tool as I ignored his pleading messages to get in contact.

Another thing to try is logging on to Windows with Admin rights. Some security templates stop lower users from having cookies, even though the browser allows them.

If you don't need to log in when you boot up you probably already have admin rights.

I vaguely remember Norton program telling my browser was unsafe and it would change everything for me to make it safe. Do you think something has been changed if so what?

Sounds like Norton is blocking the cookies then. You'll have to change that in Norton, which I no longer use as it is a system whore.

Horray ! I'm at home and am logged on ! Fooking Norton made my computer like a fortress so messed about with security settings. Virus on its way now probably though !

Switch to Firefox! Then you can block cookies from everywhere else but still let them through from here.
