I'm torn...do I want Liverpool or Chelsea to win?

I'd hate to see Liverpool suceed......otoh I would LUUURVE to hear Mourinho's pathetic excuses if it all goes tits up, like he has on the (admittedly very rare) occasion its gone wrong this season. I'd also quite like to see the utterly shite Drogba, he of the horribly misplaced arrogance, weeping into Jose's fancy grey smock.....

Naah, I still hope for a Chelski win, purely on merit - Liverpool, Juventus aside, have had a laughably easy path to the semis. To see such a mediocre league side win the CL...*shudders*

They must have bought the six minutes of injury time. I mean, SIX fucking minutes. Would've been a tradegy if Chelsea had scored on 95/96 minutes.

Hehe - I'm not even english. Thx for being a good sport! =)

Bad game for Chelsea, Lpool fought well and I'm happy Chelsea are out (cos I don't like Robben, Drogba and Mourinho in particular). Incredible how few chances were created all through the game. Imagine if Drogba had chested that last pass/shot by Gudjohnsen..... =)

I'm not usually one to gloat but Mourinho's ungraciousness in defeat makes it all the more sweet.

But at least he has the American Express ads to fall back on if Roman sacks him :D

Dubious goal aside (if no goal, at least it would've been a penalty and red card for the keeper).. Luis Garcia is a fantastic player.. Incredibly pace, ball control and vision.. - too bad he's not playing for ManUtd! =)

Menace who would you like to see fill Sir Alex's boots after he departs.... ....and I mean before Roy Keane takes over.

    That's a tough one..

Ideally the new guy must do much the same to satisfy my demands.. keep building strong youth teams, and not be afraid to use them. Play offensively at all times - and preferably with two men at the top.. - play like they did in '99 not like they do now with only Nistelrooy up front. He's awesome but he needs more help - imagine how well he'd fare with another strike partner..

    Doesn't answer your question.. =/

I think Queiroz will take over until Roy is ready.. He (Queiroz) wasn't given a fair chance at Real, and he knows this team better also..

Hmm what about Luxemburgo from Real Madrid? I know very little about him, but he's turned Real around.. made them play like a team again, not fancy stuff admittedly, but with a little more time and some new players I expect great stuff from him and Real..

Was listening to the match on the radio. Did the liverpool fans all hold their fingers to their lips and "shush" Mourinho at the end? And if not, why bloody not?

    As a Manchester United fan..

    /ducks

yes, thank you. As i was saying, as a United fan it galled me to support the scousers last night, but needs must..

Honestly don't think chelsea were better. They had more possession but that's how liverpool play. Go 1 up and then fall back. Nothing wrong with that. It worked bloody well against Utd year after year too... Bastards!

Can't remember hearing about many chelsea shots for all their possession. And where the hell did 6 minutes injury time come from?

As for the ball crossing / not crossing the line. Boo hoo. It happens. Deal with it. Can't remember Mourinho complaining about Scholes wrongly disallowed goal against porto last season. Or gudjohnssen's dive to get alonso suspended. Or carvalho holding the bayern keeper back when they got the winner in the last round. Funny that.
