They also said unregistered users wouldn't be able to post comments any more... and the 'ignore user' button has just vanished from all the 'unregistered' posts in the comments section. It's funny because I am alt-tabbing from the old site to the new one
We were going to launch tomorrow, but now I think we're looking at Monday. I might post some teaser shots later today. -

Everyone hated the current version of the site, everyone hated the version before, everyone hated the version before etc... but people shut up after a while. The content and general layout is very similar (the forum is identical, apart from the loss of orangeness), so there shouldn't be anything for poeple to really get in a huff about this time!
I think this is the best one yet - not too different for the regulards but much more accessable and browseable for the new folk, and a lot easier to find old content/keep track of new stuff. It should be the least buggy version too, as we're keeping it quite simple, no flashy drop down menus etc
But hey, just cos we thought it out carefully doesn't mean you guys aren't gonna spazz out and abuse us But I'm going to E3 and then Vegas for a week so screw you guys!! ha

Nemmy it's on all-new hardware and a rejigged CMS so it will be much faster and more reliable.
We might have a few teething problems next week tho as we haven't put the new servers under any kind of load yet - we shall see... -

They can be useful. Consider:
We all start making guesses on the price for the XBOX2. We could do a poll on what we all think the price will be. It makes gathering the data much easier
