Looks pretty much how I expected it I suppose. Reminds me a lot of the last couple of films, which it's probably not meant to do.

Be interesting to see the proper trailer.
It's an ok trailer, but it looks completely removed from the previous films to me. It couldn't be any further away from the light and breezy feel of the first two. No quips, pretty dark and erm, sciency, totally different "containment" suits, no space exploration, etc.
It does look very different, not sure why it makes me think of them so much. I don't doubt that it'll be very different from the last two films in terms of tone etc.

Maybe it's cause there's four of them described as being fantastic? ;)

I must say that it actually looks a hell of a lot better than I was expecting considering the backlash it's had and the apparent rumoured clusterfuck of Trank's helming. Rumours persist that he was arriving on set coked off his head, trashed several sets and the house Fox were renting for him. Also, he was totally removed from the editing suite.

It's hard to tell if any of this is true, but he can come across like a bit of a dick. Not 100% dick. We'll see soon enough.

So, it looks like there's not going to be a naked invisible woman gag in this version. Not happy.

The Trank stuff was very odd. Can't have done that bad a job or he wouldn't have landed a Star Wars film off the back of it.

Looks like they're really hitting the Ultimate version with this one - which might actually turn out okay.

So why are they doing a reboot when the other films came out a few years ago?

What's next. A reboot of a film released a year ago?

To be fair, the first FF film came out 10 years ago now.

    Plus it was shit.

Less time passed between Batman and Robin and Begins.

Surely the bubble will burst soon. Far too many Marvel movies being made.

Same reason they keep making Spiderman films, to hold onto the license so Marvel can't take it back for their own projects.

The bubble will burst when people stop going to see them obviously, which generally happens when the quality of a series of films declines therefore if they keep putting out good quality films, the studio is still going to see a good response by the general public and good takings.

I say generally because a shit film doesn't always mean bad takings (Transformers 4).

Nobody complains about there being too many revenge/drama/buddy cop/comedy/war/quirky indie/horror movies...unless they see a shit one.

Marvel films have been rather diverse too, Captain America 2 for instance is pretty far removed from Guardians of the Galaxy. If Ant-Man is a heist movie that could be a nice twist.

Looks alright but reminds me a bit of the Man of Steel trailer, which was fucking awful.

It's only a Marvel film in the name, it's a long way removed from a comic book film going by that teaser.

I actually really like it. I had zero interest but a more sci-if re-imagining is interesting for a superhero property. Interested to see how it will play out.

Heh, good twist on Sue/Johnny Storm :D

Also: DOOM. Wasn't sure if he'd be in this.

That looks ultra generic. I mean the only Marvel movies I really enjoyed was Guardians of the Galaxy so maybe this just isn't for me.

I've liked this more sci-fi take on a superhero film from the first trailer and this third cone continues that trend.

The youngest are 28 and that's about the right age for the Fantastic Four origin afaik.
