Sarcasm is hard when dealing with that kind of hatred and ignorance.

    Sounds like America right now.
Guarantee he’ll come out saying he was referring to the local governments in New York, Ohio etc.

I'm not sure about that. I checked The Donald on Reddit and they are celebrating Trump's recent tweets.

Well he said "countries". Not that it matters, his opponents know he's a hateful cretin and his supporters don't give a fuck. It doesn't seem like anything he says will ever make any difference.

I meant that American politics, as it is right now, is dysfunctional and leaders (almost exclusively Republicans) are inept and corrupt.

So Trump, inadvertently referring to Americans, is accurate in his assesment that the country "they" are from is indeed a total catastrophe.

Basically Trump is talking about himself and his fellow swampees, and he doesn't realise it.

    Yes.

It is rather impressive that he went with the textbook racist line. No nuance or subtlety allowed. It will be interesting to see the response from Republican and conservatives in general.

I think we have gone far enough to see they are fine with racism. (Or incapable of recognising racism unless the N word is used).

Undoubtedly, but this does feel less subtle than the racism they are used to embracing.

Republicans: Look, just because we want a more controlled immigration policy and strong borders, doesn't mean that we hate immigrants or are racist

    Trump: Hold my beer.

In case you were in doubt about Trump being a racist, he went and used peak racist grandad “go back “ language. Case closed. No further questions, your honour

I think in most other cases Trump would have to resign after that tweet, but we live in dark times. It is a shocking statement.

Probably earned a few more voters for “Saying it like it is”.

This is looking more and more like a real time case study of how a dominant country/empire goes to shit. Will they be able to pull back from the brink even if Trump doesn't win next year? I'm not so sure.

Don't think it will increase his base, but it will have a emboldening effect on some quiet racists.

I love how Trump went to Paris 2 years ago, saw their July 14th military parade and decided he wanted the same.

So this year, he his parade, "With tanks!". Apparently tanks were important to him.

He must've been annoyed when he saw the French had a soldier flying on a hoverboard in their parade yesterday:

If Johnson hangs on as PM for six months on a no-deal Brexit ticket, Trump and he will bolster support for each other. Who knows where that will end.

The democrats replies to those tweets are the most tepid, feeble nonsense. At some point you have to stand up and take charge of the situation, the guy is being full on racist with no bones about it.

What would have made that better is if he landed on a giant Trump made of cheese. Crushing it under the kick ass hover board.

Crazy times. Trump now feels emboldened enough to basically recite white supremacist slogans.

Re: "How long have we had hoverboards"

Two Frenchmen walk into a bar.

Patrick de Gardon: I have invented ze wingsuit. Truly the most batshit way of travelling ever.

Franky Zapata: Hold my vin rouge.

Yeah but that thing looks quite a bit less impressive than the thing future cop is riding.

    "Future Cop" is Franky Zapata.

He is going to try and fly his hoverboard over the channel. Which is ace.

Although we joke about it, I am sure this is exactly the kind of thing that would enrage Trump.

    "Where are my goddamn hoverboards!"

To be fair, this is what pretty much everyone has been saying since 2015.
