Registered 6 years agoIt’s so strange that he occasionally gives in to making these sorts of speeches, I know it’s purely to get himself off the hook but it’s like a brief moment of lucidity where he realises he’s fucked if he doesn’t say something.
I bet that took about 3 days for him to say what he’s supposed to with no ad-libbing. -

I have a hunch that this kind of crap is all that we'll see from certain Republicans over the next few years. Registered 17 years agoIt feels fake because we aren't used to seeing him reading from a teleprompter. Just listening to it without the video and he sounds super hammy and not at all like himself.
Mainly because he (initially at least) actually makes sense. Full sentences that are perfectly coherent. But man does he struggle with reading aloud.
Unsurprisingly he brings the BLM protests into it, and tells democrats to not condone violence. -
