Anyone recommend a media player that can cope with .mov, .ra, .ram and other real audio stuff? Has to be resource friendly and reliable.

Quicktime keeps pissing about with my audio settings so its banned and the Real tools are just way too shit.

I use Media Player Classic, as suggested by someone on here not too long ago. To run QT or Real stuff you need to have them installed as well, or at least their codecs. Quicktime stuff seems to be a lot better using this and you can actually full screen .movs properly with it as well. MPC is pretty darn nice.

I have Windows Media, Quicktime, Real Player Plus And Divx Player on my PC. Real Player works well and recently downloaded the quicktime codec from Real. So gonna uninstalle the actual Quicktime Player as it sucks and Quicktime movies playes soo well on Real Player. The Latest version Of DIVX(www.divx.com)Player supports more media than before and is essential if you wanna watch movies.

Slightly OT but BSPlayer is a great all round player but again it can't decode rm and qt as they're proprietry. QTpro is good for fullscreen playback but of course you'll have to get a reg code.

Bah, I'd love just one small piece of software that could play all media types, well oh and for free:)

I just hate the Borg nature of Real.

All your systems are belong to us!

Er, generally I just use Windows MP, Quicktime, or Divx if the porn doesn't play *cough*

The most annoying thing about Real is its' tendency to ignore your instructions. I tell it not to do anything other than be a media player, so what does it do - it decides to tell me about special offers/updates etc when I boot up. I'm giving it another try, but if it tries anything similar, it's going in the bin (again).
