I like the look of this Android handheld for some emulation when I'm out & about, most of the reviews I've seen all sound pretty good and you can now pick one up for under £100.

I'd appreciate the thoughts of anyone that has had some hands on with one.

    Thanks.

YenRug bought one, did an unboxing post, but never really said much more about it. It does look interesting, but I have too many toys already.

Where are they under £100? Been wanting one or the JXD S7800 for a while, but if they're that cheap now I may have to bite.

I have the JXD S7800 - not a massive fan of the ergonomics, but fine for eg SNES RPGs or similar games that aren't completely manic. I get the impression the GPD XD is the way to go.

    It's about £114 here:

Never used Gearbeast, but seen it recommended a lot.

Oh, I remembered what I really disliked about the JXD - when you're holding it your left index finger will naturally lie across the on/off button on the side if you're resting it on the shoulder buttons. I've inadvertently turned it off dozens of times while using it.

I was tempted by one of these. Supposedly decent battery life too. Still looking at the 'retired' Nvidia Shield Portable as another pricier option (as I recall it being more powerful). Also, I can see the long awaited NSP sequel finally get announced just after I buy one ;)

Still want something but budget says no...

I am tempted by these, but I know I would fiddle with it for a while, then it would sit in a drawer next to my Pandora, PSP, Vita etc.
