    He didn't want to be known as Stan anymore guys. It's Lee now.

    I'm sorry, eleven63, I can't let you say that.

    Will be shadowed by Stan but RIP Doug all the same.

    The BBC obituary is pretty badly researched, I donít even read the things but I know that the Golden Age of comics wasnít ushered in by the Fantastic 4 in 1961

    @elstoof

    To be fair I think the writer is referring to the golden age of Marvel being born rather than the actual "golden age of comics". Obviously poorly chosen wording mind :)

    Just read that, very sad.
    I love Spongebob, brilliantly funny show especially the first 6.

    He's a fucking saint compared to what we have now. Even compared to his son.

    At any rate, ex presidents fit the theme of the thread, regardless of whether we liked them or not.

    I think I killed him. Played a Buzzcocks album on the way to work about five hours ago - can't recall the last time I played any of their stuff :(

    Do you own any Lil Pump albums?

    No but I've been streaming a lot of Morrissey albums just in case I do have these powers.

    I refuse to believe user neilka is familiar with Lil Pump's oeuvre. In my mind's eye he has a very elegant gramaphone which he uses to play his only LP (the Stephen's Sausage Roll OST) whilst having a snifter of brandy in his oak panelled library

    Ah, he's the gangbanging paedophile with the interesting dental work.

    I'm going to make it my life's mission to avoid ever hearing any of his music.

    I find it somewhat ironic that the EG forum's celebrity death thread was started by MrTom.

    RIP Paddy Ashdown. One of the good ones, far more than just a nickname.
