See it quite often on this site in the comment sections. Think it was last year with the guild Wars developer or community mod who called someone a dick for mansplaining her job to her. 99% of the comments were calling for her to be sacked and made up there minds she was complete evil bitch. People harassed her on twitter for a full week.
he was not "mansplaining her job to her", the guy got a load of hate as well as she said he was sexist and her followers went after him. The whole thing was a shit fest with arseholes attacking her and also the guy (some guild wars community person or something) was getting shit

edit: the day twitter closes, the world will be a tiny bit better

    Terrible, terrible, news.
I hate Ďcancel cultureí, I hate the abuse that keyboard warriors give out.

Many disagree with my political views, many feel like they are misplaced but I never ever say anything bad about people, I respect everyone.
Just look at the brexit thread to see some of the abuse I have received.

If you donít want to hear from me then press the IGNORE button there is no need to tell me to kill myself or abuse anyone.

The press and social trolls need to take responsibility when someone takes their own life, words hurt.

Remember in the bad old days before LetsGo died? He would be crowing about this and somehow making it about him.

    PS, stinks in here

It is a cesspit. It's steadily got worse over the last 4 or 5 years. I've successfully pretty much binned off Facey, now need to do the same with Twitter.

Fucking gut punch that one. Iím shocked, visceral

I donít think - no, I know - that thereís a DJ Iíve seen more often than him. He was basically a house DJ at my regular haunt of the 90ís and early 00ís. Probably saw him one every 2-3 months on average overly a span of nearly a decade. He was there so often it became a bit of a joke. Him and Justin. Ah fuck. The damage of those years kicks, Robertson! Thatís the cunt. He was still making belting music as well.

Was listening to my Smokebelch II CD single in the car just yesterday.

Damn. Itís going to be a loud day at my house today.

RIP Andrew Weatherall. Way too young to go :( Heard him DJ a few times in Manchester in the early 90s and backing Primal Scream on the Screamadelica tour. A genuine Acid House legend

I'm not sure caning it in your youth leads to deep vein thrombosis. Although I may start wearing some of those special stockings just in case.

Come now. You donít reckon a fair number of us are going to shuffle off this mortal coil before our sixties?

The Stones got all the money in the world to pay to keep them alive 😂

Had never heard the name Larry Telser 5 minutes ago, now I know we probably all owed him so much. RIP Mr Tesler, thank you for your services and to supporting so much procrastination time.

I recently taught someone at work the keyboard shortcuts for cut and paste (and Alt+Tab) and was treated as if I was an amazing genius of productivity and time-saving.

But the genius was you, Mr. Telser. RIP

I remember an interview with that guy, it was a pannel with Bill Gates and some other people. They mentioned that guy invented ctrl-alt-delete, but he said he only made it as an easy reset, and then said Bill made it really popular. This was when windows98 was out but before NT, so back then you only used ctrl-alt-del when something crashed. Bill was not amused.

Found it, but NT apparently was out at that point.
