    Never played a Ratchet and Clank game before - seems like the perfect time to jump in.

    These reviews are glaringly positive. Always thought it looked good but had doubts on how the full game would turn out.  I was initially going to wait for it to drop in price a bit but I think I'm sold now.

    Why's our release in the UK 10 days later? Seems a bit bizarre

    Definitely one to pick up later, always loved these games. Problem is all the other games out over the next couple months.

    It's already a budget title, day 1 for me!

    @FuzzyDuck
    Yep. Can be had for under £30 so there's really no excuse not to. I'm torn between keeping my preorder with TGC and getting the US digi version so I have something new to play this weekend.

    I'm pretty hyped for this. A proper video game with colours and stuff is nice, in between the relentless grimmness of most modern games like Dark Souls 3, TLOU, alien isolation. And I only played the first one yonks ago on the ps2, so hopefully wont get too much over-familiarity, which a lot of the reviewers seem to be suffering from.

    Hopefully that Banjo Kazooie remake kind of, will be good and sell well too. 3d platformers are woefully under represented, as developers decided for us that we didn't want them.

    I am pretty tempted to get this.

    Not sure if I played the original or just 2 and 3.

    Trying to set up a US account to download as badly want it, but Amazon seems to be the only place I can get it and even though I've got a 'forwarding address' etc it keeps saying "you're in the UK so you can't buy it", bah.

    @Humperfunk
    Buy US PSN credit from CDKeys or whatever and top up your new US account with that, then buy it direct from PSN.

    Any word on if it lets you have multiple saves? It'd be nice to have though I don't really expect it.

    And what's the deal with the Bouncer weapon? Is it bundled with new copies or exclusive to certain retailers?

    Christ after all that last night, I actually got to the position where I could buy it....and decided to wait instead! Only a week and a bit and got Gravity Rush on the go so for once my backlog spoke to me and I listened!

    Glad I did it though as now I'm ready for any games that don't make it to Europe or any others that come out in the US way before Europe (Persona 5 I'm looking at you, if you ever get released)

    @Humperfunk
    Yeah, I'm in the same boat... Still have plenty to do in quantum break and I'm only a short way into Gravity Rush (I'm determined not to just abandon it at that first stealth section AGAIN)

    Might as well just wait it out for another week and leave my $20 credit for something else. (I'd forgotten all about P5!)

    @dfunked Defo get stuck into Gravity Rush mate, honestly I absolutely love it (already banged in eight hours in two days!), got the Platinum on Vita four years ago and going to go for it again.
  • Deleted user 13 April 2016 10:25:09
    @dfunked Push past that stealth bit in Gravity Rush - it's thankfully the only one in the game.
  • Deleted user 13 April 2016 10:38:16
    Cheers guys, I'll definitely persevere if that's the only bit. Instafail stealth sections that are at odds with the rest of the game have to be one of the most bizarre design decisions there is!
    I'm always puzzled that they make their way into games without anybody standing up and saying "hold on guys, this is actually a bit shit. Let's just scrap this section"

    @Humperfunk

    It's one of the reasons I love these games. A light hearted bit of comedy gaming that you play with a silly grin on your face.

    Gaming/life can be just too serious at times. This is fine antidote.

    I had a pre-order of this from the US PSN store...

    Just spent an hour with it, pulling myself away from Dark Souls 3. It is very, very special indeed. Perhaps not good enough to pull me away from DS3, but still excellent. They really are being quite cruel to it with this release date.

    Do it! I've stuck in a good few hours now and it's absolutely great. Glad I jumped in early, even if it's only a week and a bit early.

    Looking forward to this and put my PSN pre-order in. Really enjoyed the first one on PS3 and the downloadable quest for booty. Fir some reason I don't pick up A Crack in Time but this has got my vote.

    @Fourwisemen mate down the line if you ever get the chance, make sure you play A Crack in Time. Makes the first PS3 one look shit in comparison, it's that good!

    Any of you guys read the comments from IronSoldier on the EG review for this?

    "I hate to say it but I'm beginning to wonder whether some of the recent criticisms of EG's game review standards from the Xboners are in some way valid.

    In all seriousness, how can a review of a remake/reimagining be in any way credible when it ommits to mention that the frame-rate has been cut in half relative to the original game?"

    There are some sad muppets on here.
