The Juiced ad on the frontpage makes my PC melt

    Sorry, but the frontpage isn't usable for me. The Juiced ad (at least I think that is what causes it) makes the crappy work PC here (700 MHz I think) freeze for a few seconds and stutter like mad. Scrolling the site up or down is nearly impossible. Not when it's loading it from the net, but simply when it's displying it. :-/

    AdBlock is your friend. Happens in Firefox on the home PC, just takes it's ball home. I try to scoll down and nothing happens for about 2 seconds.

    Yes, not much use at work here I am afraid though, where I am stuck with IE. :)

    Can you convince the tech boys to let you use googlebar or something else with adblocking capabilities?

    Christ, I use adblock on my machine at work so I have only just experienced this. My poor laptop is still gasping and wheezing. That has to be THE craziest overuse of video in a flash banner I've ever seen, the video is hyuuge. Someone needs to learn about optimization tbh.
