@kentmonkey in development, first we give them that surprised look and the stiff movements then we continue from that. ;)

@caligari the game will have one do it all button (shoting, passing, tackling, heading) like in the classic sensible series, and one speed button that lasts for 3 seconds then it takes another 3 seconds to be able to use it again where you have to let go of it.

What else differs from previous Sensi? Graphics are obviously tweaked sympathetically, goalies look a bit shit (beta tho), online play (though this was in the last Xbox Arcade game) and a speed button?

Looks to have captured the feel well, goalies look to be the only concern.

    I'm optimistic about this :)

When I used to buy Zero magazine, they released a demo of Sensi which included a grenade instead of a ball (I think to promote the forthcoming release of Cannon Fodder). Not only would the grenade bounce at odd angles, it would also randomly explode, taking out whichever play happened to be near it. Adding that type of mode, albeit a bit silly, would be fantastic.

@Caniggia11 When will it be released? How much will it cost? Which platforms? What happened to Chris Yates?

@dai_bonehead Hi, 8-9 months from now. We don't have a price yet. It will be decided by our publisher. Platforms expected are PS4, One, PC, Iphone and Android. Chris Yates I don't know nothing about :p

Nice. Beastie Boys' Shake Your Rump was the suggested video after. Made my morning.

I was at the Blackpool show. The game does look good but there are some serious fun-ruining bugs in the game in its current state that need fixing. Someone I was with got knocked out of the tournament because his goalie just watched the ball fly into his net without trying to save it, from a very long distance shot.

I'm sure stuff like that will be dealt with before release. Looked good.

The Blackpool version was at 50% and no release date has been announced yet. We'll get to the bugs and we'll tweak this baby a lot.

It looks exactly like sensible soccer with bigger players.

Not necessarily a bad thing considering how terrible the remakes have been.

Guess SWOS style leagues and careers are out of the question, can't imagine licensing is easy thesedays :-(

    Awesome stuff.

Will there be a career mode at all?

Nope. Not like in SWOS. We're still developing game play so that will have to wait for the future, career mode in SWOS took 3 years to develop. You will be able to create a avatar and improve it and try to get yourself called up for your club and country.
