Nine years later, we can actually look at the poor thing as a game, instead of as a weapon. GT Cube is related to the GT Advance games on the GBA; same developer, same formula. Cube is less interesting than those games because it has far less tracks, but more interesting because it has some proper drifting mechanics and even an entire mode for it. I don't know why people keep comparing it to Gran Turismo so strongly; they use the same theme, but are fundamentally different games. 80% of the "criticism" against the game is whining about the graphics; it's a budget game, boohoo. The other 20% is people using that to snowball into saying things about this game that they would never say about potentially lesser games. All these 2s, 3s, and 4s are just sad; GT Cube is more like a 7 or 8, and I'd give an extra .5 to Pro Series for doing motion controls properly. Edited by imagineer at 18:38:15 01-04-2016 |
