It does feel like this has come out of nowhere in a sense as it's almost had no hype on it. Looking forward to smashing it on release day.

Does anyone know the reason why this isn't available (and hasn't been for a while) to order from Amazon. Very strange for such a big release.

Might just be stock shortages (which would be odd, granted) but it might be Amazon having a hissy with Sony or something.

The US arm is doing the same thing with Disney, so you can't pre-order any of the Marvel films on UHD, and then they whack them straight under Prime exclusivity on release.

The information that I thought was interesting was that it applied to Detroit and SpiderMan too, had only seen the discussion re: God of War.

It's not great I suppose but I think everyone knows if you want to get something on release day you don't buy it from Amazon.

Having Prime I've never really had a problem with them. I don't buy a ton of new releases these days, admittedly.

I have prime and the only game I have pre ordered from them didn't turn up for a week so I cancelled it. Absolute dogshit for games.

Yeah I'm another primer who never bothers with pre orders with them. Well for games anyway. Purely based on other people's experiences.

I do find it strange that if you order after release date it gets delivered pretty quickly but when it comes to pre orders they just somehow have some kind of collective brainfart. I'll never forgive them for making me wait two weeks for my copy of GTA 4.

Probably gets shoved on a shelf if they can't dispatch straight away and don't know what to do with it.

It is weird. I thought GOW was just sold out. Probably not going to help sales.

Seems Detroit, Days Gone, Spiderman, The Last of Us 2, Death Stranding and God of War are all currently unavailable to preorder through Amazon.

Definitely seems to suggest some sort of issue between Sony and Amazon.

I think people were expecting a slightly updated GOW 3. It does sound tasty from the reviews, I think I'll ask for it for my birthday next month.

@neems SimplyGames have them in stock at the moment. I swore I wasn't going to get a pro as my normal ps4 was just fine - then Monster Hunter came along. I think if there's a few Sony exclusives coming out that you're at all interested in, it'd be worth it ( or so I told myself at the time too).
