| Oh, great. Locked preorder content. And that bike will cost you £5 since Game will be that much more expensive than everywhere else. |

Registered 16 years agoYeah seems that way. Just been googling and it's appeared on the Microsoft store so maybe not as exclusive as GAME would have us believe... -

Registered 15 years agoOut tomorrow then?
Slim chance of a Eurogamer review I suppose.
I want to BELEEVE, but, despite an £40 digital pre-order price on PSN, I don’t think I can bite until I’ve read some impressions. -

Registered 15 years agoI’m close, haven’t bought a full priced game at launch for about six months and feel the itch.
Going to be a sensible twat though I think. -

Registered 15 years ago7/10 Eurogamer Spain- brilliant detailed TT track but not enough meat on the bone elsewhere in terms of bikes, track, career etc. -

Registered 15 years agoI *think* I could lap the IoM track forever, in a similar vein to Nordschelife, everything about the feel would have to be super satisfying though. Meh, wait for a couple of solid reviews I guess. -

Registered 15 years agoMan, love that cockpit view, great vid. It's mind blowing people do that in real life with circuit crash barriers replaced with jagged stone walls and Mrs Jenkins azaleas lining the track. -

Registered 6 years agoYeah it looks great. I always really struggle with cockpit view on bike games though. -

Registered 16 years agoWell it's difficult. Semi pro setup and I've crashed more than I wanted so far. Sound wise it's good and the sense of speed is there but I can't customize the control setup as I'd like. I would like the throttle control on the right stick but instead of back break I'd like front break on the right stick with rear break on the R2 trigger.
It's the same settings I've used in just about every bike game so having to retrain the brain a bit here.
Handlebar view seems accessible certainly more than Ride 2 for example but again need practice.
Career mode is nothing special. Management email stuff with ££ for wins and bike repairs.
Day 1 patch around 500mb on the PS4 -

Registered 16 years agoFrom what I've played so far no it seems to play well enough on the base PS4. I've got a handlebars view video recorded so I'll probably share that on here at some point.
The fictional tracks I've played so have been good to. -

Registered 15 years agoThat is for the thoughts Nitrous.
Scant coverage out there but have found one more review and it’s very much in line with the other- brilliant track, graphics etc buy very sparse everywhere else. It feels like it’s very much a hot lapping game alone, which, given the location is still a decent draw. Definitely getting it but I think I’ll wait until it’s cheaper.

Registered 16 years agoIt's Dirt Rally but with Bikes to me... Almost.
It's frustrating at times and I've only just managed to tackle jumps. Roll out of the throttle and then thread it back in again. That gets the weight transferred to the back and the front lifts up. Looks great on replays rather than crashing all the time.
It doesn't have the vast amount of bikes due to none of the real life race teams taking a road going Yamaha R1, Suzuki GSXR1000 or a Ducati Panigale to the TT. I suppose the only way they could do it would be a legends DLC pack. That would get the bike count up.
Tracks, yeah could do with a few more and it's a shame they couldn't or wouldn't include the north west 200 or ulster grand prix tracks.
Overall I'm enjoying it.
Edit: Just seen via Gtplanet and a tweet that Sidecars will be added to the game for free in May.

Registered 15 years agoThat’s cool, hopefully a nice contrast with slidey car like handling, which makes me think- Higgins/Subaru DLC next please 😄

Registered 16 years agoNice video, not seen it before but I have seen the same car in GTsport after a recent update.
Just done my 1st full lap race round the TT and there is indeed some frame rate issues especially near the start of the lap. For the most part it runs very smoothly so hopefully this gets sorted in a patch.
When it clicks though it's very enjoyable!

Registered 15 years agoIt doesn't scream buy now, no.
But, if you're a TT nut and the chance to learn the course is there with reasonable handling- and it only sounds passable from that review- then it's pretty compelling. More general motorsport fans I think have a tougher decision to make. -

Registered 9 years agoACG reckons its a rent or get it on sale, not nearly enough content for a full priced game and some annoyances like having no sensitivity setting. Good review and worth a watch if you have time. -
It's right up above
I really do want to fully twat the Isle Of Man, but it's probably a £30 twat, not a £40'er.
