    It's right up above ;)
I really do want to fully twat the Isle Of Man, but it's probably a £30 twat, not a £40'er.

Sub £20 for me I think. Given that about 4 people knew it was actually coming out I'll probably only have to wait a month.

Ahh sorry, I didn't click through all the links. Yeah it will price drop really quickly as I dont think it will scratch the sales chart despite there being little new out.

Out of stock of the PS4 version at Amazon, Simply games and Base.com. Didn't check Xbox one although GAME sold out on that version on the website.

It's like WRC7 that went under the radar turned out good and it's still about £30 when I've seen it in stock.

That’s cool, hopefully a nice contrast with slidey car like handling, which makes me think- Higgins/Subaru DLC next please 😄

Tony Pond's lap in a Rover Vitesse in the 1980's is more impressive considering it was a stock car with race tyres.

    @shamblemonkee

Nice, I've posted my own video on the previous page using a slightly different view but it's nice to see someone using dynamic view or at least I think that's what happening in that video as mine is set to of.

Never seen that video- I’d like to- but the words “Tony Pond Rover Vitesse” could liderally NOT be more 80’s if they tried

Whatever issues the game has got there's so denying they've done a hell of a job with that course.

I've actually just done a few laps around Nordschleife on Ride 2 to stop me buying this. I bought it a few weeks ago in one of the sales and while it hasn't massively grabbed me it's not a bad game at all. I enjoy it whenever I put it on for a few races. Nice depth to the handling and its looks pretty nice at times. Great track selection as well.

Ride 2 I thought was actually rather good.
I'll buy the next one without any hesitation. Be sure to download the free bike packs from the PSN.

Can't comment on Moto GP17 really but should be ok if you haven't played GP14,15 and the one with Rossi in the title as there wasnt much improvement between each year. Copy and paste development almost.

It's gone on my Steam wishlist.

The way the sun caught the rim of the windshield at certain points was one of those lovely touches of detail that is quite subtle but really adds realism.

Welp I took the plunge. It's very much the Race Pro of this gen so far - very basic and barebones presentation but a great core. Treat this as essentially the TT course a few bikes and that's it.

I was interested in TT course and actually don't mind, or have little interest in the other courses. Whether it's worth full price depends on how eager you are to experience the course. What a course though it has obviously been a labour of love to model and the sense of place is second to none.

I dived straight in to the full TT course and as before, just wow. People do this for real?!

The handling is both forgiving and brutal - very direct but oddly also not entirely precise with no option for sensitivity adjustment currently.

My top tip: look to the tree line!

I've been running with medium ABS, TCS low wheelie help, medium stoppie help, combined brakes, no line.

Jesus Christ, it’s incredible that people do that. I mean, it might have made sense years ago when they were on machines capable of half that speed, but now, with the liberties a rider needs to take at the track edges to even post a remotely competitive time, I’m speechless.

Anyone who picks this up, do not start with the Kawasaki. I spent the first four hours thinking the handling was awful but I bought the Triumph and it's much better. It's still kind of awkward at low speeds though.

Agree with shambles that it's just the TT course and some bikes. The career mode is poor, the fictional tracks are boring, mass start races are horrible.

    That TT tho', hoo boy.

    Also, needs a bloody rewind.

I booted this up yesterday to do a time trial of the TT track. All the top supersport times use the Honda, so I tried it but I fell off about 5 times in 2 minutes, so I went back to my trusty Triumph.

Anyway, I beat shambles' time putting me top of my friends list \o/ Need to try superbike next now that I'm clearly the best at supersport. (Please don't go back and beat it!)

It depends, how much do you like the idea of bashing your head against the brick wall that is the full 15-20 minute TT course with a small selection of bikes for leaderboard bragging rights? It's very very good at that, wonderful sense of speed and danger.

Not much to do though, career mode is really poor and the fictional tracks are mostly uninteresting. I'd say for most people it's either a purchase and trade-in after a few weeks, or purchase when it's sub-£20.

I'm so sorry. Haha. It's been fun checking in every few days to see your latest time.

I am down to a 20:17 or something now. Sub 20 is day possible with more practice. I know most of the course now but the bike randomly decides to kill me sometimes. Or I forget a corner.

16 minutes still seems realm of impossible

Ah you wanker! Are you still using the Kawasaki? I hesitate to help you but if you haven't tried any others I would recommend it - I had the Kawasaki first in career and thought the handling model was just fundamentally broken at low speeds until I tried the Triumph. Now I know it's just bad, not completely unplayable.

That Honda though... it feels like it's made of paper, throws you off at the drop of a hat.

I'm sure I could break 20 if I could hold my concentration for long enough and just not make those tiny momentary mistakes that cause an accident. I guess that's the whole point - it's a fantastic challenge to master it, I just don't know if I have the patience.

Glad it's not just me then.

You know, this has kind of made me want to pick up Ride 2 on the cheap. I know the handling doesn't look quite as good, but I'm pining for a more involved career structure.

Yeah it's definitely got less of a psychopathic trait than the other bikes
