I wish! I can just about hold my own but I'm not at that level. I just hop on for a few rounds for fun.

I appear to have hit a checkpoint in the first mission where I have 22 seconds to evacuate a building, on the twentieth attempt now and there doesn't seem to be any way to do it.

I have looked online and I seem to need to press a button, but I can't do it until this thing moves into position, but it seems to need another 20 seconds on top of my remaining time to do it. But I can't go back a checkpoint, just keep respawning at the same point with 22 seconds to go.

Glitch?

Christ this game is fucked. Had to redo that whole mission (playing on Veteran)

Get halfway through the second mission and the game crashes, turning my PS4 off. Have to sit there whilst it scans the disc etc for ages as usual. Finally get back in and "resume game" and once again, back at the beginning of the mission so do it all again.

Get halfway through again and realise it's been piss - it's stuck me on recruit and I can't start the mission again on Veteran unless I do the fucking first mission again!

Christ. Serves me right for buying CoD again instead of playing The Last Guardian.

Just finished the campaign on this - enjoyable game to play through, but christ the messaging is atrocious. As I was going through I was laughing at the terrible story etc, but the last mission gets downright offensive.

For details: Reyes' character arc is basically that he wants to save people, but everyone keeps telling him to man up and that dying in action is bloody wonderful. He gets a nice big lesson when he pulls the Olympus Mons up to avoid hitting the Retribution, and then proceeds to take a bunch of shit from everyone about it, before a laughably long series of people you're attached to 'heroically' sacrificing themselves until he finally gives up and does it himself. I was incensed at the point they were slamming into your face like a sledgehammer by the end of it. Just... I don't know, it was really bad.

But yeah, decent game, 7/10 campaign I'd say aside from the above issues. Suffered last year relative to TF2 and Doom though.

Oh my god I've just suffered exactly the same, was utterly ridiculous. Shouldn't let you checkpoint if you don't have the time, coupled with it not telling you what to do until a specific point (which you can't get to with that amount of time). Eventually I restarted the whole mission and couldn't even get through the first hanger door for like 20 mins (all on vet btw) managed it all in the end. Stoopid, which is a shame as the game seems decent so far, vet seems tough mind but I shouldn't complain really.

Ok so is anyone playing this on ps4? I'm finding it the best cod in years. Campaign is cool, zombies was retro fun, mp maps and guns seem decent (makes a change) granted it seems to have a tight metagame going on (nv4 fallout,bunker buster or go home) but I was never going to be the best anyway.

Anyway I've got the season pass this time but not many people to play zombies etc with. Anyone else here fancy grouping up? Looking forward to the rave in the redwoods map.

I just finished this. I'm thoroughly 'meh' on CoD really, I've played through all of them, but I just rinse the sp in a week and get shot of them, I just play them for the sake of playing them really. They're not bad by any means, but they're all much of a muchness to me. Anyway, I fucking loved this one, genuinely couldn't put it down and did everything I could in the game. I'm pretty disappointed that it did so badly as it means there won't be another one
