Not once motherfucker. Though I did use the thing that fires your spirit at things. And something that made them hit softer.

To be fair, they nerfed the shit out of sloth, so it's nowhere near the win button it was.

The attack one is still good, though. The power pill is decent if you've got a few ninja points left

Yes, for the most part. It is the same again unless you tackle the DLCs, which you should, by the way. You can start properly geeking out on crafting as there are loads of ludicrous weapon skills to get. I had one that replenished health from any amrita, so every enemy defeated started replenishing health.

You have to want to mess around with equipment but it is where all that soul match stuff and other mechanics start to make sense.

Yeah fuck the missions that unlock after the final mission. Throwing 2 bosses at you at once can get fucked.

Ah yes, those are pretty ludicrous. I think I managed to do them on NG but got utterly fucked by them on NG+. Especially the dual welding jumping cunt and the dick with the tail.

I am obviously the best one at remembering the plot and character names.

By the time you're levelled enough to not get rinsed in the DLC, you can hammer that pair of wankers in the cave. It was the first thing I tried after finishing the campaign as well, but fucked it off before it gave me an aneurysm.

The game is actually pretty good at that. Progress is actually progress. Things that gave you a hard time are quite satisfying to go back batter later.

So it's best to fuck all that off and start a new game?

YMMV, but I found myself only levelled up enough to kill the rabbit eared fuck reliably and never had enough left in the tank to get the other one.

Once you go through NG+ for a bit, you should be able to go back and hammer them.

Also I take it NG+ mixes it up with enemy locations and stuff?

You select the difficulty from the map screen. It shows you too left corner I think.

Def get the dlc itís great, even though I got sidetracked halfway through.

Biography is a funny one. I struggled to handle the dlc and ng+ difficulties as it seemed to rely on infusing greens up and I never seemed to put enough damage out. I would go from ng dlc to ng+ areas and get my arse handed to me either way.

That said once done with ds3 Iím going back to this.

Not really. The enemies are faster, stronger and some get extra moves.

It's not a tradition NG+. If you go to the destination menu, you can now access way of the strong difficulty level and can play through the campaign on that.

Was hoping the season pass would be on the latest sale but it's not. Is it worth 20 quid?

Gnnnnn..... maybe? Same with all DLC, it's half the price of the game but you don't get 50% extra content.

But it's a big old campaign, the levels are great, the new enemies are fun and the new weapons are cool.

I paid a tenner for it and definitely got my money's worth and I wouldn't have cried if I'd paid full whack.

Aye it seems to be on sale pretty frequently though, so maybe piss about in ng+ whilst you're waiting and you'll probably see it reduced again in a few weeks. The new enemies are great actually and whilst the locations are more of the castle in the mountains variety, they are well put together.

@Bichii do it. The first DLC level is very good. The boss is properly tough too.

    Too late..:).

I just re purchased the standard edition for £12. The complete edition was £16 but from what I researched the bosses were all bastard's and I found the base game way harder than dark souls.

It is primarily the first DLC boss that is the bastard. He has a super fast attack that stops one from getting in close. The first thing one does to any enemy in that game is get in their face but he had a move specifically designed to stop that. It took ages to unlearn the muscle memory.

Oh and he has an essentially unblockable combo attack as it saps all stamina. One of the hardest bosses of any game I have played.

Any tips. Two years ago I gave up about 4/5 through it. Any particular upgrades, what's the easiest weapon type to get through with etc. I'll start from the beginning again.

You should have bought the dlc. Even if you don't play the levels, you get new weapons to use in the normal campaign.

I found the kasurigama to be the best, it's initial heavy attack in high stance breaks the horn of most yokai.

So is this way harder than from games or was it just me. I've never binned a from game but in the end this was pissing me off way too much at each later boss
