Yep excellent fight, didn't like the first main mission boss Mr slime tentacles arm thing but final boss made up for it.

Yeah he was like a shittier retread of the Umi Bozu from Nioh 1 I thought. Didn't hate him but didn't like him particularly either.

Did anyone manage to ring the gong on that fight?

I was so overlevelled, it didnt really matter but I couldnt for the life of me work out how to get big monk to back me up.

Nope. I gave big boss mate two large arrows I think and I only noticed the gong after I'd beaten the boss.

I tried but when I hit it nothing happened. I gave big Dave all the arrows as well but couldn't ring the bloody gong for him.

I rang the gong, but at the start of the fight and it's clearly meant for the last part, when Umi-not-Bozu is on the ground not in the water.

Only played it on Ng but can see what a nightmare the bosses will be on demon let alone the latest difficulty.

Only had chance to do the first level so far. Not too tough and not many surprises. Boss was very straight forward which was nice. Love the new cart yokai though!

Guess we are all playing a different game. First boss was probably the 3rd most deaths I've had in nioh 2. Just beat an absolute bastard sub mission boss for my build. Soooo many debuffs put on me.

Started and finished the dlc today. All missions done. I enjoyed it but now ill go back and find all the kodama. Didn't really struggle with any of the bosses this dlc. Half the time, it depends on your build as to how difficult the bosses are for you.

The new cart enemies kept wrecking me early on but I soon learned their game.

Plus I'd respec my mage/ninja to a slow ass tank that isn't a tank as I don't have great tank gear. First mission was four sword difficulty

You can get tank gear easily. I'm wearing the obsidian gear with a weird helmet with horns and glasses. Tank build seemed to fare well in this dlc.

They scale off strength, right? Never done a strength build. Might throw a cheeky axe in there, too.

I can see a tank being optimal here as not getting hit, a lot, seems tricky with these bosses.

That may be an issue then. Time to grind lol. At least you can save your old build if you need to swap between the two.

Now I'm going to spend some time looking for the rest of the kodama. I'm sure I've missed some parts of each level.

I bought the season pass as it's on discount, but I think I'm going to wait til my PS5 arrives to play the game. Looking forward to getting stuck in again!

Finished the second dlc just now. The last boss was giving me unhealthy rage. Nearly every attack either one or two shotted me, nearly every attack had me stunned or slowed etc. I beat it on probably my last attempt before I gave up.

The last boss took me quite a few tries as well. Being a tank and then getting slowed down is a nightmare. I had about 5% health left when I eventually beat him. The last hit was a hopeful one. If it missed, I would have died.

A quick question, I've been on way of The Way of the Strong, but finding it easy, so moving on to Way of the Demon, what is a grace? Is it like a second type of armour bonus?

Its a set bonus for things that dont have set bonuses. All the useless shit you ignore in the first two difficulties now gets a random grace so you can, if you are lucky, make a pretty powerful set out of random items.
