Surprised there's not already a thread for this. It's a good show! Really looking forward to 3.

Same. Searched for an existing one, hope I didn't glance over it.

Absolutely loved the first series. The second didn't reach the same heights but was still brilliant. Really looking forward to this. I don't think anyone has ever made the brummie accent sound so cool.

@DUFFMAN5 keep going, it takes a while to start but ends up excellent.

I thought Tom Hardys character was amazing in season 2.

    'On a gathering storm comes
    a tall handsome man
in a dusty black coat with
    a red right hand'

Fucking love this shit. As the milkybar kid says, anything that can make the Brummie accent sound cool deserves some kind of international recognition.

Oh Arthur... I really did swoon for him and Thomas. They have a fantastic dynamic together. Especially when they are tearing the gaff up. I was hooked from that second episode where the Gypsies start gobbing off and you realise Tom's not just the brains, but just as crazy as his brother(s).

The entire supporting cast play a brilliant part also, but special mention to Sam Neil who is fucking brilliant.

Yeah it has a really good supporting cast. There all pretty stellar in it. I'd be interested to see if tom hardy will be back in it as Alfie. He was cool.

"I once carried out my own personal form of stigmata on an Italian. I pushed his face up against a trench and shoved a six-inch nail up his fucking nose and I hammered it home with a duckboard. It was fucking biblical, mate."

I liked him but didn't feel.they did much with his character after introducing him. That's my only complaint about the series is that they're too short.

I couldnt get onbwith this at all. Tried a few episodes of tge first series and found the shitty accents to bexa big immersion killer

The cinematography is pretty much the best thing you'll ever see on BBC Two.

I didn't know Paddy Considine was in Father Ted. The last scene looked like it was lifted from a renaissance painting- awesome.

Only just watched the first of season 3. Pretty weak episode by all accounts, but the leads are typically strong in their acting. I fucking love Tom and Arthur.

Who's Arthur's Mrs and why are Russians suddenly involved?

She used to be a Quaker, and the rooskies are the new plot device because of Churchill calling in favours from the gang.

How gory is this show? I'm currently suffering PTSD from watching the first few episodes of the latest series of Banshee and I need something just a notch or too less violent. Boardwalk Empire level, say.

It's no worse than Boardwalk Empire.

its always tricky after a time jump to retune into the series. I thought ep 2 was really good as well and it certainly sets up a good episode this week.

I liked it, too bad his wife died, from a gunshot wound to the shoulder? I guess she bled out or got an infection. I think that killing off his wife was just too obvious and blunt, I was hoping she would only have been hurt. Murder rampage because his wife got shot is just so cliche.

Well, that's one way of taking care of the family.

New favourite Arfur bit is now "I'm OLD TESTAMENT".

All caught up with the new season. Who thought it would be a good idea to cross-breed Littlefinger with Worzel Gummidge?

Havent seen last weeks yet but it's been pretty decent. Don't like OBE Tommy, it was actually nice to see him get pit in his place the other week.
