    I'm off to Vienna with mates next weekend.
    Any EG tips on what to see, eat, drink etc.?

    Cafe Central for breakfast. Get there early before the tourists flood in for a decent table. The scrambled eggs are delicious.

    I'd love some tips on non touristy eating/drinking places, I imagine I avoid a lot of the 1st district?

    I always go the train station and spot some exotic kickass international foreign locomotives

    Make sure to bring lots of film!!

    The American bar, designed by Adolf Loos. Lovely little place a true design gem. Grab a beer and some oysters, lovely.

    Also the Church of St Leopold(Otto Wagner) is an absolute masterpiece, really is a must if you have an interest in architecture.

    My brother lived there for a few years, i spent a month there. A lovely city you'll have a great time, very fond memories.
