Ok, here's a question. I have a new external hd and currently own a smaller one. Can I plug two in at once in order to transfer the data of the smaller into the larger?

Wolfenstein 2 and Battlefront 2 look very nice on this.

I'm sure it will feel normal all too soon, but thems is purty.

Battlefront 2 is rather a looker, I can't compare it to the pro version though which may not be all that far behind, anyone able to compare?

So I thought the UI was all fixed and snappy now on the x?, I'm still finding it a slog to do much on. Even simple things like changing tabs on the home screen and entering menus on the guide button seems like an exercise in patience sometimes. Do I click it again?, go
back, wait. Errrgh, it frustrates me, it just still doesn't seems able to do the simplest of things smoothly much of
    the time.

After having issues loading up cod for the first time after install, it turns out that it's that old classic of having to power cycle the bloody thing, ui seems snappier as a consequence and the game loaded at least.

Yes, very often. Seems to be the x's weakness. Which is bullshit frankly.

Finally got round to unboxing my X, i'm impressed at how small it is!

Any tips on settings to update to get the most out of it for 4K gaming / 4K Blu Rays?

I have COD WW2, Wolfenstein 2, Assassins Creed and Halo 5 so a decent selection to start me off :)

There's a screen under display settings that will let you know (via ticks and crosses) that youre running 4k HDR.

Wolfy 2 looks amazing. That and Gears 4 are the showcase games for me.

Don't forget if you ever owned any 360 games digitally you should be able to download them via BC.

I'm considering an LG OLED. Does anyone have one? Any issues with burn in or image retention?

Is there or will there be an adapter to plug into the Xbox X to make the WiFi stronger. Iím getting fed up with the console losing connection a lot. Iíve done speed tests to check my internet on my iPad and theyíre all good, so I know itís not my internet at fault. Plus, I donít have this problem with other devices around the home.

Microsoft is unlikely to release a wifi adapter for a box with wifi in. Best thing you could do is get one of those wifi mains plug jobbies with an ethernet port in. I got one and it worked a treat with my OG Xbox One because it gave me similar trouble on a couple of instances when I took it quite far from my router. I haven't tried the wifi on X yet though.

I can't see MS admitting there's a problem so highly unlikely.. unless it becomes really widespread.

I'm connecting mine up this afternoon so fingers crossed!

@BigOrkWaaagh Thanks for your reply. That would mean a wire laying around on the floor, which I donít want, unless Iím wrong in thinking 😀.
Have just found this on YouTube, Iíll give this a go https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=phdCGOTVgWc

I've not really noticed any lag issues with my X1X, but in fairness I haven't done a lot of online gaming with beyond the already shonky PUBG. Fortunately my router is right next to the TV so I really should connect it with wires anyway. Just couldn't be bothered buying another cable.

I use a 55" LG C6 OLED TV with my Xbox One X, which i bought about 7-8 months ago. Absolutely stunning TV and no burn in issues for me. I'm certainly not denying some people have suffered from burn in, but I'd suggest it's a vocal minority. The Xbox One X also has constantly moving subtle changes on the dash when sitting idle to prevent burn-in. The TV itself also has a screen saver for Netflix and the like if left idle. Don't see it as a concern, but of course I'm not going to push the limits to find out. I just should my TV normally, as I would, and have had no problems gaming or otherwise.

I have a LG B6, I do occasionally get mild image retention, normally when watching F1 and the camera switches from an onboard view of a bright car. But it's worth it for the base picture quality, even SDR content looks amazing once it's configured properly.

Did have the panel crap out though, which was replaced under warranty but it was only 7 months old.

@Pazie well, it just goes from your Xbox to the mains, and I assume your Xbox is plugged in to the mains anyway :)

I have the c7 and I have experienced zero burn in issues.
I used to have a Panasonic plasma a few years back that was dreadful for it so I know what to look for, but I've not noticed any. I believe if you use it as a pc monitor that can make us easier to spot dues to Windows frames, bright browser screens etc.

I had major network issues with ww2 and Infinite Warfare. So much rubber banding I was cursing the game being shit but after I had enough and direct wired it, all was smooth and completely no issues. So yes definitely the xbox x shit wireless network adapter.

I also used to use a Panasonic plasma, the OLED is fantastic because it comes with the benefits of that fantastic picture quality and really deep blacks without the drawbacks of flicker, burn in and especially input latency, which the plasmas are really, really bad for.

So I turn on my X remotely using the controller and it turns on, loads up, and all the while the big white X on the pad blinks and stays in searching mode. It keeps blinking for about 10-20 seconds after the dash has loaded so I can't use it until it finally stops. I've tried 3 different pads, one old style, 2 new and they all do the same thing. It's a bit of a first world problem I know and not a massive deal but I'd be grateful if anyone had any ideas. My OG One never had this little foible.
