| Schmitz seems to be a right nutter. Her, Joey and Monkey would be a decent lineup for the main show. |

Registered 14 years agoCan't believe Gordon Ramsay is on the couch and everyone is calling Jesse Eisenberg the cunt?! Eisenberg was the only one that actually made me laugh in the whole show. His comments seemed off the cuff instead of read from a script.
The one thing that I always disliked about top gear was the challenges that are absolutely arbitrary. The lets race a jet fighter but because it's a jet we'll give the car a 137 metre head start and be surprised when they finish within 0.1 seconds of each other. Those sort of challenges. Normally they'd have one of these per show, which was tolerable, but last night they all seemed be that. The missile lock on challenge, the escape the paparazzi challenge, the jeep (lets take a shortcut) race. -

Just watched it - would like to know a) how you manage to 'loose' a bright blue car on an empty airfield (oh it just turned up behind me out of no where!) and b) How we are expected to believe that Evans out drove a professional driver (i.e Sabine)
Didnt mind the viper/vette bit until the laser gun part which was a massive facepalm moment.
I did like the fact they acknowledged the fighter pilot feeling nauseous was scripted due to Evans previously being cause throwing up after being driven by Sabine -

Registered 9 years ago@superdelphinus I thought he was the one, alongside Einstein, that figured out the principles for folding space and multi dimensional principles. I recall that they were building on the works of others, but they brought together the whole idea into a coherent structure. Oh, wait, I am thinking of Rosenburg. Nope, I am equally bamboozled. -
Has there been any "I pay my license fee" arguments? -

Registered 9 years agoChancellor Double Whopper with Cheese with salad, (Tomato, Cucumber, Gherkin and Lettuce, (Maybe Iceberg)) was a German? Who'd have thunk'd it? Or put in so much effort to thunking of a joke that loses points for the pun being the same berg you riffed on? Not me. I am sticking with Willow Rosenburg from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and just being awkward. And sexy. -

Registered 13 years agoGet rid of Evans, get Chris Harris and Sabine on there with Mr LeBlanc and you're onto a winner.
Why they're using the same format I do not know. Make it into a proper car show, include some bikes (LeBlanc's into his bikes) and make it unscripted....to a point.
I think what I'm most annoyed about is the fact they've shoved Chris Harris onto BBC3! -

Registered 7 years agoWatched it a second time with the wife, who was out last night. Really isn't as bad as people made out. Was actually more enjoyable, dare I say Chris Evans wasn't as bad as I initially thought. I'll stick with it. -
What an utter pile of fucking shite, except for Schmitz of course. She's as lovely as ever.
