I would have also accepted 'Token Black Guy'.

Yeah, that's the difference between ep 1 and ep 2 for me. Ep 1 had two segments where Harris was playing Captain Uncomfortable, but Ep 2 only had that yeti hunting one, which as I've said before at least had some genuinely cool vehicles. And I fucking love those segments where Harris gets to play with fast cars, always have.

Reid seems like a nice enough guy but he's too dull for me, doesn't seem to have a sense of humour at all

I'd leave him to Extra Gear and get another presenter in. Harris is really good and he can really drive - a great addition. LeBlanc is ok but he shouldn't be the main presenter

They need someone that can carry the programme, someone with gravitas and a bit of charisma - I assume they thought that they were getting that with Chris Evans but he annoys more people than anything

Joey’s there because they need someone recognisable when they sell the show internationally. Not sure who else they could get in better than him for that purpose

I'm enjoying it, its worth an hour of my time once a week. The feature on the McClaren was brilliant, such an incredible car.

Yeah, but what are the odds the next supercar he tests 'redefines the experience' or 'blows the socks of the competition'. Maybe I'm overly cynical, but he seems to say the same things every time he gets a new car. Doesn't stop me enjoying it of course, and since these cars are completely out of my budget, I'm not looking for serious advice.

The bit on top gear tonight where they were in the radiated zone was just about the best feature they have ever done. Really incredible to see the area just abandoned like that.

The type r and Lexus bit was good too.

Yeah, a good episode again. First one may have just been a dud then. This one was probably helped by there being no awkward interviews with a star. And the trip section was probably helped by being mainly about driving, with the scripted bants kept to a minimum. And as always, I enjoyed the Harris solo bits he does.

Probably the best episode in years. Some of those tracks looked awesome, particularly the one the Lexus went round at the start. Kind if like a track you'd see in early Gran Turismo. Sone of the over the shoulder shots of Harris in the Lexus and the footwork during the race were awesome.

Watched this for the first time in years. Was okay, a bit dry, but I'd happily have that rather than three cunts with chemistry.

The Porsche prototype was cool-as-fuck. LMPs were so gorgeous back then.

Great episode. This and last week's have probably been better than the entire run of the grand tour combined.

Yeah I agree, great episode. I've always had a soft spot for the RX-7, you don't see many of them about but they are lovely looking cars

Hmm I'd say the grand tour was good this season. This is still trying really hard to have good chemistry between the hosts and not achieving it yet

Japan was interesting, though. Definitely a highlight so far

Looked like one of those Sumo guys was fucking terrified at one point.

Just watched the track-tor section. Didn't think it was great, but I did enjoy the final sequence with the stig in it. Got a few laughs out of me. :)

Damn, this is annoying, they'd finally got a combination that worked and was enjoyable.

Matt LeBlanc quits Top Gear after three series

Former Friends star reveals why he's leaving the BBC show.

Matt LeBlanc is quitting as host of Top Gear, the BBC has announced.

The former Friends and Episodes star, who has presented the series since 2016, said it had been "great fun", but that the "time commitment and extensive travel... takes me away from my family and friends more than I'm comfortable with."

He added: "It's unfortunate, but for these reasons I will not be continuing my involvement with the show. I will forever be a Top Gear fan and I wish the team continued success. Thanks for a great drive."

BBC Two controller Patrick Holland said: "I want to thank the fabulous Matt LeBlanc for being a brilliant co-host on Top Gear.

"Matt has thrown himself into the show with real passion, revealing his extraordinary car knowledge and a willingness to get down and dirty.

"We were always going to be borrowing him from his day job as one of the top comic actors in Hollywood, so I wish him all the very best.

"The next series of Top Gear (Matt's last) promises to be something very special and we have great plans to welcome a new co-host to join the team for 2019 and beyond."

Just saw this. Until or unless Flintoff admits he was a troll over flat earth I won't watch him. I won't support the BBC in promoting that level of stupidity.

Not the most stupid thing they’ve promoted, they’ve put Bannon on a debate in Scotland only yesterday
