Haha, nice balanced article there, the Greek depression is purely down to the EU.

And again I'll say the EU should hammer Italy in line...

If member countries can decide to stop respecting their obligations on a whim it wouldn't be fair to the others and the union wouldn't last...

Its fine though, its not like Italy has the second worst debt to GDP in the Eurozone.

Whats another 3% on top every year, sure why not make it 5%.

Im sure if it was a company or individual the Independent would be all behind them spending more.

    Very Trumpian.

Turns out exiting the EU is complicated? Who could possibly have known?

It really is amazing that a man who’s supposed to be a government minister didn’t understand that most of our goods come via boat from the European mainland until today

At this point I'm wondering if Raab and other Brexit champions can even point out Dover on a map.

So I'm told that planners in Kent, looking at the channel crossing, are expecting crossing delays of around 36 hours for tourists looking to go back and forth. Don't go planning a driving holiday on the continent this summer.

I am not the biggest fan of Raab, he is a horrible human being. But he was saying that he wasn’t aware of it previously... didn’t mention today. I can imagine the conversation going ‘Right Raab, he is everything on brexit, have fun’ and him seeing in big red letters, this is fucked, we need Dover-Calais open cos MEGA BUCKS. and him going ohhhhhhhh shiiiiiiiiit.

Fairly significant, but it needs more to do it in order to really hit home.

The article is really damning. It is pretty significant. But as you say, needs more - and most likely, a leaver like Gove or Boris saying that Brexit is unworkable etc. JJ isn't quite heavy hitting enough.

While a second referendum is welcome, I'll only fully support it if there is an option to completely cancel Brexit and stay in the EU. What I don't want is for it to be hijacked by Boris, Gove and Farage into being a vote that puts them in charge of leave over May.

I'd let Juncker go in dry if any 2nd referendum let us stay in.

The European Court of Justice is going to rule if Article 50 is revocable at the end of the month.
Government will be desperate to put a deal to Parliament before then. They don't want MPs to see that as an option.

We had this persona before a while back. Disgruntled factory worker thinking his life will magically get better after Brexit. It's such bollocks the middle class will still be the middle class regardless as they are skilled workers and far more in need than an easily replaceable factory worker.

Considering most of my family's income comes from outside of the EU and Britain, I will be fine. You can fight over the scraps.
