    Dear god.

Over 25 million kids in poverty within the EU, Greece, Portugal, Spain and Italy with 33.8% and what happens? The EU send a 1.3 billion pound probe to the sun.

Now, I love space but that money could have eliminated child poverty from within the EU.

    Priorities.

Nah, it's definitely the smell of a gorilla cock that hasn't been washed since it raped that stupid cunt, whatever his name was.

It doesn’t bother me one bit man.

It was the other way around, it broke into the zoo and raped all the gorillas. Truly a sickening act by that ghoul

In totally unrelated news, did you guys know that child poverty could be eradicated within the entire EU by sending each child a gift coupon of 52 quid? It would eliminate child poverty!

Think of what those poor kids could do with that 52 pounds.

For just £3 a month you can provide an African Farmer with 1 hooker for a whole week.

If they sent you with it it'd have been even better value.

It's amazing how these new posters have a hatred of someone like they already know them.

There's no child poverty in the UK. None. I checked. People only go to foods banks to make a food withdrawal or deposit.

@Jono62 Akumer is a re-reg - Joyless_Man, I think. He's also a very tedious one, who only seems to do "I'm better than you" one-liners.

I don't think there's a country in the world you can't level that at. We pour billions into trident when people are using food banks. India has its own space program while nearly 200m people with no access to clean drinking water.

I know it's shit but it's not the AH HA! GOTCHA! that makes the EU uniquely awful.

Every poor child could afford a triple A game. That's progress.

Anyway, poverty is defined in relative terms so it can't be eliminated.

Rent control, higher taxes and tighter standards on rental properties and MUCH higher taxes on empty and high value properties. Use money raised to build a load of social housing stock, that isn't then sold off - I'd put an independent body in charge. Wouldn't let government or the private sector supervise it.

If you're a landlord that refuses to make their property habitable, it should be confiscated under the proceeds of crime act.

It won't solve everything. But if you're poor you should, at least, have somewhere safe and secure to gather round your new AAA game, perhaps dreaming of owning a console one day.

Now we've taken the steps to freedom from the oppressive yoke of the EU we'll obviously get on to eradicating child poverty in Britain because obviously it was the EU holding us back there.

Dude, in fifty years time there will be headlines reading, "Almost a third of children living in poverty with no access to cloning or rocket boots." It's a moving goalpost, by intention.

No, we've got to sort out that much needed bridge between Scotland and Ireland first. Apparently.

I love the notion that “The EU” has one giant money pool, Scrooge McDuck style, that everything it controls shares, and it just chooses which organisations it hands over a billion euro to.

The EU requires a minimum amount of foreign aid by each country doesn’t it? Half the UK want to get rid of all foreign, and domestic, aid.

Ahh yes. Remember how things were going to be easy with absolutely no disruption to business, the small business owner will definitely thrive here.
