Weird thing, actually, CS trying hard to do stuff but stymied by lack of strategy and direction. Decisions made off the cuff, not involving support, and then they fail/flounder as there was no plan.

That satellite investment just aches mt heart, that was a lot of cash.

As far as I understand it, that was not driven by the CS...

This for sure. A bumbling lazy half wit buffon in charge durimg a national crisis that he himself is massively to blame for the Brexit part of. He couldn’t even believe Leave won and had nowhere go from that point except exactly where he is. Lying lazy power tripping delusional cunt.

May was completely null. Uselessness was her default setting. She seems steady now because she lacked the wherewithal (and political capital) to do anything meaningful. The fact that Corbyn was a threat to her shows how utterly incompetent she was

Johnson is actually malevolent. He doesn't give a fuck about anything other than himself. Politics is game to him, and if he loses he'll still be a rich posho who doesn't have to live in the real world. Just like Cameron.

The Tories are a cancer. Tory voters are either useful idiots, legitimately rich or sneering wannabes. The path they set the UK on in 1979 has turned it into a shithole.

The House of Lords backed Labour's amendment for food imports meeting or exceeding domestic standards last night, which should be the end of chlorinated chicken and the like.

Days of delays and miles of lorry queues for exporters from January. Hope the Brexit voters in Kent are prepared for the 'short term pains' on this one. Also, looks like government's 'brexit will be a land of milk and honey' rhetoric has now disappeared.

Of all the things im most looking forward to about brexit, its kent being turned into a car park.

I have tory supporting, brexiteer family with a holiday home just outside Deal, so they are going to have to eat all the shit in the world if they want to go there again.

I'm pretty sure that I can predict that they'll say "we always knew this was coming and it's a little bit of pain for the glory that will come to Britain, yadda, yadda....zzzzzz..."

Or as my mum kept saying for the past 2 years "just you wait and see...". She strangely doesn't talk much about how Labour would be worse in charge. Its almost as if this shit show in charge during a pandemic has opened her eyes.

No, they will be absolutely apoplectic the minute they have to sit in a traffic jam and find someone to blame other than themselves and the people who caused this mess. Its just going to make them even more unbearable.

Excellent news, but don't the government simply try and work around this by lowering domestic standards ....... ?

Or when this goes back to the Commons won't they just amend it and send it back to the Lords?

Blimey, no, fuck me! As if this year couldn't get any worse. How can this be seen as a positive from independence from the EU?!

Kent turns into a lorry/car park... With its own border.

I'm voting for an independent London. Sort the fuckers out.

Isn't the Guy of London independent already? They could join the EU for maximum confusion.
