    This might have already been covered, but a lot of British banks will be closing accounts of British people living in the EU, unless they can provide a UK address;

    Found this bit particularly interesting:

    Ratcliffe, who owns 60% of Ineos, has seen his personal fortune increase from an estimated £9.5bn in January 2019 to £17.5bn today, according to the Bloomberg billionaires index. That estimated wealth has increased by £1.25bn so far this year alone, despite the coronavirus pandemic.
    Smells a bit of disaster capitalist to me...

    It's because we all talked Britain down. They'd have totally stayed otherwise.

    Well there we go then. At least now all those white, cis, English speaking people finally have a voice speaking for them, because for so long they've really been a persecuted and powerless minority in Britain.

    It's remarkable. I quite like Neil as an interviewer, and he mostly does a good job of keeping his bias under control on the Beeb but it's no surprise he feels he needs to let rip with his terrible opinions to his minions.

    GB News = GAMMON NEWS

    The channel’s co-founder Andrew Cole has previously said the BBC is a “disgrace” that “is bad for Britain on so many levels” and “needs to be broken up”.
    people who have this view tend to be alt right cunts and cole's dribble sounds like something trump would say

    Now now, they only have The Sun, The Daily Mail, the Telegraph, the Times, the Sunday versions of all of those, countless online news sites and frequent appearances on Question Time. Barely any voice at all.

    Let them speak!

    Instead they have to access the Home Office’s online database each time they need to produce evidence of eligibility.
    What a pisstake. No reason whatsoever for such a process unless it's deliberately to make it as difficult as possible to interact with.
