Only just come across mention of this, 8 ep show produced by Netflix set in the 80's, featuring Winona Ryder.

Going to swap the order around for the trailers, as the second one does a better job of grabbing your attention whilst the first gives you more background.

I think this looks great. It's obviously a love letter to 80s adventure movies and channelling Spielberg hard. I'm very much looking forward to it. I'll be watching on friday.

The kid cast are spot on, especially Mike.

I really want the soundtrack, the music all the way through is just quality.

Done four episodes: it's absolutely brilliant so far. They've nailed the 80s aesthetic.

And +1 on the soundtrack. I must have it: Carpenter-esque.

Hope the quality keeps up for the remaining four.

I watched 2 episodes last night, thought it was brilliant. I really like the 80s synth music. I was surprised it's quite scary! Looking forward to the rest.

Finished it. Absolutely loved it. So well done; it nailed everything it needed to: casting, aesthetic/ambience, and particularly pacing. The eight episode length is just right, doesn't overstay its welcome and provides enough time for appropriate narrative/character development.

Really chuffed with it; had a great time this weekend watching it
