    ...and yeah, to be honest the prices are fucking batshit, but what are you going to do? Though Norway is tempting (though you'd probably pay as much there just for food and drink).

    Loch Tay is lovely, has some great cabins and sites and is surrounded by lovely villages. Plenty of nice walks, hills, wildlife.

    We stayed in a cabin a few years ago and loved every minute.
