I'd like to get in there quick and skip over the usual "overenthusiastic praise from Nolan fans -> backlash from Nolan non-fans declaring it the most overrated thing ever -> backlash to backlash -> backlash to backlash to backlash -> etc" cycle, and just say that it looks alright.

Is it about Americans pounding their chest or Brit's getting the job done?
  • Deleted user 5 August 2016 12:11:43
What amazing accent / weird audio mix will Tom Hardy have?

What labouriously clever point can he make with this, then?

Will be a great watch, no doubt.

Would be impressive given that the US hadn't even joined the war at this point.

    Don't tell the Americans that.

Apparently it's based around one of Nolan's relatives who was at Dunkirk.

Why he decided to cast Harry fucking Styles is beyond me. Hopefully Tom Hardy beats the shit out of him in the first 5 minutes.

A trailer popped up in my Facebook feed earlier for this. New trailer I assume? Looks pretty good and I like the tone of the trailer too.

Looks Ok though I notice Tom "mumbler" Hardy is in it. I wonder what sort of butchered incomprehensible voice they are going to treat us to this time.

Why is everyone so jealous of Harry Styles' good looks, money and success?

Wasn't the greatest of trailers but I'm still looking forward to this a lot. I can't wait to see and hear those Spitfires in IMAX.

I'm not sure what Nolan can bring to war movies, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of doubt...

Got distracted by dodgy extra going down in stages once that shell explodes on the beach behind him.

Tom hardy's amazing. All the best actors have got there Cocks out on film. De niro, ewan mgregor, Harvey keitel and more. And Tom has had it out loads. That proves beyond any doubt he's a gifted actor.

    Trailer does look good.
I look forward to Tom Hardy doing a Bane impression with his pilots mask.
I hear in this edit, Harry Stiles gets his cock out, to plug a bullet hole in a small boat.

Fucking hell, Harry Styles is my least annoying tit in there after Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenny Branagh..if they bunged Ed Sheeran, Robbie Williams and Gordon Ramsay in there I'd have a full house.

I'll catch it when it's free on my ponced Netflix.

Whilst Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy (to name two) no doubt had to work very hard with a bit of luck to get where they are today, this guy from a boy band gets fast tracked into major films just because he's in a boy band and is a 'name'.

Don't get me wrong I'm sure he's had the best acting tutors in the world working on him so he's probably (at best) an average actor as opposed to an awful one.

Thought the trailer was nothing special tbh, Branagh seemed awful in it, and Harry wtf styles pouting away. No thanks, not even Nolan can get me interested after that.
