    Digital Storm
    Falcon Northwest
    Maingear
    Origin
    NCIX

Are any of these sites good?
Should I just build my own, if so, then what is a good PC rig that is on the higher end of the spectrum?

(edited to make this post seem less shit)

Anyway, just as I came I opened my eyes and saw mom had been in and left a tray with my tea on next to the bed

Definitely build your own. I'm in the same boat as you, though, and will be watching this thread.
First, however, you must refer to it as a RIG. This is necessary. :D

How much do you want to spend?

First thing to look at, surprisingly, is the resolution of your monitor.
That will tell you what gpu to get.

@Barrel_Trollz I am clearly using the wrong terminology. Damn.

@Fake_Blood 1080p is what I want to go for, mostly because I think 4K can't do 144hz yet. I may be wrong.

@THFourteen How much do I want to spend? 0 dollars, basically win a contest.
Willing to spend... mid to high end maybe. I don't know exact price points, but I do remember when messing around Origin, I made a RIG that costed $4,169, though I did click on "Origin Recommended" and it was on the Genesis model.
So hopefully, something less than that.

Can't tell if you are trolling or not but if you have money to spend then go all out, i7 6700k, 16gb RAM, 1080, 500gb ssd

It's overkill but it'll last you a long time.

    http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/cgcrVY

So this is your base, and then in order to get the costs down you can lower the CPU, RAM, GPU to whatever you can afford.

Hmmm £1400 this was a lot more expensive than I thought it would be.

I don't get why the title is the way it is, given the first sentence of your post. Therefore, I'm out.

@THFourteen I was just being a literal dick in that first sentence, because no one really wants to spend money to get something, we'd all prefer to get things for free.

Anyway, thanks for your help, I am very grateful. You weren't some dickliss asshat who went out of their way to post "heh, your post is long, lolz :)"

I now know that this forum is just as cancerous as a Digital Foundry YouTube comments section

@superdelphinus If you actually read the rest of the post like a decent person, you'd know by now that my gaming laptop isn't all that great, and I want to get an actual good Rig.

If you're going to comment without having actually finishing the post, then don't comment. Stop wasting time.

Stop being so aggressive . No one's been particularly rude to you. You'll get much better responses if you tone it down.

The best way to get help from people is to start laying into the first jokey comment.
People will fall all over themselves to help you out.

Get a phat PS3 on the original firmware and sideload Ubuntu on it.
You'll get mad FPS from the cell processor.

    Brilliant!

"Hi guys! I want to buy a new PC and would like some advice but first I'm going to treat you to a 1200 word essay that explores and demonstrates my wicked sense of humour and linguistic flair!"

"What?! Someone was rude about my post?! Well you can all fuck off and I hope your Mum dies!!1"

Just write that in the first place then you daft cunt. No one can be arsed to read through walls of quasi whimsical bullshit.

i5, 8gb ram, 970gtx,240gb ssd (for OS), 2GB SSHD for game installs, Windows 10, 1080P IPS monitor.

Use this as your base set, and play around with variations until you are happy with build and price.

    Enjoy your new gaming experience.

We at Eurogamer forums, thank you for your enquiry, and are happy to assist in your ascension to the PC master race.
