    Started playing Red Matter earlier, which I'd bought a while ago in a sale on the back of the praise it got from Ian Higton.

    It's a bit good, isn't it? If you've got a couple of Move controllers, you need to play this.

    Real lack of psvr games in this July Sale, I've been checking regularly on the Sony Store for sales on a few games.

    I seem to remember someone said there was a website that tracked the prices of games, so you could see the lowest it'd been on offer? Beat Sabre for example, it's 24 quid, has it even been put on sale before? Should I just wait?

    I'm still a bit skeptical about value for money on psvr games, nothing seems to have long term gameplay!

    Edit: apart from Keep Talking and No One Explodes, that gets played a lot.

    @stan456

    I think yours is a legitimate concern, and I have similar.

    I'd love to play Beat Sabre but £24 is too much for me (£15 and I'd bite)

    I just picked up Moss for a little under £12 from Base. With the free dlc, it seemed a good time to buy it and I'd like to play it before I play Astro Bot.

    Having physical means I can get rid of it, should I not like it or if it's a really short lived experience.

    @evild_edd Yeah I'm the same with Beat Sabre, £15 is my sweet spot and I'll jump in.

    I downloaded the Spider Man experience last night, actually pretty decent and really fun. Hasn't got much beyound about an hour or two of playing about, but a fun experience.

    @mothercruncher Cheers buddy!

    @CalamityJames Have you finished Red Matter yet? I really want to get this. Next time it's in a sale I'll grab it.

    Heads up, Dirt Rally 1.0 VR bundle is currently £9.79 on the PS Store - supposedly one of the better VR racing games.

    @up_the_ante

    Haven't finished it yet, partly because I forced myself to stop as I've read it's quite short (so definitely wait for a sale) and I'm finding that I don't want it to end.

    I generally don't get on well with the Move controllers (except for shooting-gallery type games), but they work really well in Red Matter.

    A rare day off today and spent a lovely 5-6 hours playing Ghost Giant. Played once through enjoying the story. Then pretty much a second run to mop up the trophies.

    Really enjoyable and highly polished, if short-lived experience. A charming way to spend a chill out afternoon. Not sure what its usual price is (I was actually gifted a copy), but I'd recommend it if you have moves and can get it cheap.

    Edit: it'd actually be a decent game to play with a hangover.

    When hungover I can't think of anything worse than strapping a VR headset on, but otherwise it sounds great!

    Blood and Truth demo is out today, for anyone who hasnít got it yet (like me). Good fun, shows the game off quite well I think. Instant mild nausea on movement :-(

    Blood & Truth down to 20 quid in the PSN sale.
    I tried the demo and it crashed on me...

    It's the best PSVR game when it all comes together, giving a level of immersion that I think is unrivalled.

    Unfortunately the double-wielding controls freak out at least 50% of the time which pulls you right back out.

    Easily worth £20 though.

    My sons vr has died. No blue lights on the headset and nothing coming through visor. Could be an expensive fix coming up. I can only see a couple of chinks in the cable but not really sure how they got there and he is usually careful with it.

    Controls were fine for me for the duration of the demo, fwiw. Made me certainly interested in the full game, though Red Matter seems more up my street.

    Hmm. Played the demo and was expecting to be blown away, Iíd say I was just lightly winged. I think Iíve got beyond the wow factor of VR now and am back to judging games on merit alone- itís an alright shooter from that perspective.
    And, yes, I am kind of a big deal.

    It has its moments but didn't really do a huge amount for me. Not really a fan of on rails stuff.

    A number of psvr games on sale. Blood and truth for 20 quid. Well worth a look at that price!

    Cheers. Wasn't really sure from the bits and pieces of video I've seen, so I'll hold off.

    Skyrim for £20 is tempting, but I've bought the bloody game three times as it is. Why couldn't Beat Saber be on sale instead!

    I'm quite tempted by BOXVR (looks like a fun work-out, currently £15.99), Dťracinť (currently £12.99) and Exorcist Legion VR (currently £15.99 for all three episodes).

    Thoughts on any of the above?

    I quite like BoxVr but itís completely joyless and bland. The hit detection can sometimes feel a little wonky but itís never bothered me because I use it as a little light workout.

    I was a bit disappointed with Deracine and didnít complete it. It feels very From Software but somehow a little stale and static.

    Cheers. Still tempted by BOXVR. Torn on the others; maybe I'll just stick with the one for now given it's not exactly VR weather at the moment anyway!

    i picked up legion as was waiting for a sale - it's supposed to be very atmospheric but little replay value once you know what to do...once through will do me and my knickers, though

    i've got deracine but not played yet
