So I bought Beat Sabre.... It is great...I might be putting too much effort into it but it feels like quite a work out!!

If you think you are putting in too much effort then switch up the difficulty to Expert+ I put it on once with no fail just to get an idea of it.

I was left feeling that unless I grew another pair of arms then I'll never get near that god like level of arm flailing.

@Toaster05 I did dip into the harder levels....I just smiled as the blocks soared past me and thought... May be in 12 months...

Also I have woken with sore arms.. Not since Wii Boxing have I encountered this after a gaming session.

    So worth it..

On post-PSVR pain, my legs are currently rather sore from a couple of BoxVR sessions at the weekend. You have to duck in that considerably more frequently than in Beat Saber.

On Beat Saber, I've managed to complete the majority of songs on hard but only one song in expert so far; certain sections where the notes come thick and fast I just can't keep up with! It's normally what I think of as 'drumming' sections (when you have a high density of fast-moving notes side-by-side in the centre, if that makes sense) that cause me problems. Perhaps I ought to give the practice option a go.

I caved and bought both Dťracinť and Exorcist Legion in the current sale. I'm quite enjoying Dťracinť, but I can see why it's not to everybody's tastes. I'm looking forward to trying Exorcist, but also quite nervous, given how scary it's supposed to be.

I've now played the first 3 (of 5) chapters of Exorcist Legion and, as far as the scare factor is concerned, it really does live up to the hype. This is a must for fans of VR horror. Each chapter has been very short so far (20 - 40 minutes), and purely as a game there is not a huge amount to it. As a scare experience, however, it is expertly crafted and may be the best example I've experienced yet on PSVR.

I have experienced some annoying technical issues, though. Chapter 3 I had to restart several times because an item required for progress was not in my inventory when it should have been. On restarting, my height and the position of my hands were completely wrong and no amount of recalibration would fix it (there is an in-game height adjustment feature but it didn't help). It's strange because first time I played it it calibrated itself perfectly, without me having to fiddle around with settings at all, whereas now I'm towering above everything and my hands are by my knees. It does somewhat taint the experience. I hope when I load it up again to play chapters 4 and 5 this has resolved itself.

I'm looking forward to giving it a go but I do worry that the frame rate in NMS is going to need a significant overhaul or reduced graphics. I also think it may be just a bit too much for nausea setting in. I don't have much trouble with going up in vr but going down, as in after a big jetpack jump, is going to make me lose my lunch.

    Hope I'm wrong.

I've been wondering about this too. Did you get it? Anyone else?

Got pretty good reviews. Here's one from VRFocus that sounds promising. Apparently it's a bit repetitive and unforgiving, but games that borrow the roguelike structure tend to be, and it doesn't bother me usually.

I thought No Mans Sky might get me to dust the helm off but 34 quid seems a bit steep.

There must be dozens of cheap disk versions of nms in your local 2nd hand shop. Only if you can be assed changing the disk obviously. Usually ends up on sale for a tenner every now again.

That's a fair enough price for not having to swap disks and venture into public spaces. Damn good price considering how much content is in the game now plus the new additions coming next week.

Just had a quick go of NMS. Unless they've found a way to massively optimise the performance I can't see how it won't look anything other than dogshit on the PSVR. Especially on the pikey PS4. Hope they've mangaged to do it somehow though as it's going to be extremely cool in VR.

It's a very cool little game. Just got my ship repaired, if they can get this shit to work well in VR it's going to be fantastic.

Finally got a decent deal on the Aim controller so looking forward to getting stuck into Farpoint this weekend.

Anyone played Doom VFR with the Aim? It sounds like it would be perfect for it but I've read that it's not actually that great?

Its alright. They half arsed the aim support so it doesn't feel right, but its still a blast flying about the place with a shotgun.
